Character Background
LeBron James is widely regarded as one of the greatest basketball players in NBA history, playing for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Miami Heat, and Los Angeles Lakers.
Design Notes
Creative use of official LEGO elements paired with third-party custom printing techniques to replicate modern sports uniforms that LEGO has historically avoided producing due to licensing.
History
LEGO previously explored basketball with the NBA theme in 2003 using specialized spring-loaded action figures, but never produced standard minifigure-scale modern basketball players, leaving a gap filled by custom printers.
Interesting Facts
The number 6 was worn by LeBron James during his time with the Miami Heat and later with the Los Angeles Lakers before switching back to number 23.

Niche collectibility targeted specifically at NBA fans and custom LEGO figurine collectors rather than traditional purist LEGO investors.
