Figure ID
sw1065
Theme
Star Wars
Year Released
2019. It debuted alongside the theatrical release of 'The Rise of Skywalker' as part of the Triple Force Friday product launch.
Rarity
Uncommon. While not a limited exclusive, it appeared only in three sets during a specific production window, making army building slightly more expensive than standard Stormtroopers.
Head
Standard 'Angry Clone' or 'Morose' fleshy head (used for most troopers in this era) under a unique red Sith Trooper helmet with detailed line-work printing.
Torso
Bright Red torso with Sith Trooper armor printing. Features intricate black line detailing on the front and back to represent segmented plating. Red arms and black hands.
Legs
Bright Red legs and hips. The printing continues the armor segment pattern from the torso down to the knee area with sharp black linework.
Accessories
Typically comes with a standard black stud-shooter or a medium blaster rifle (not pictured). No capes or additional gear were included with this base variant.
Color Scheme
Monochromatic Sith Red (Bright Red) with black printed accents. It is designed to look aggressive and distinct from the white First Order troopers.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing. The helmet features very fine vertical and horizontal lines. Torso and leg prints are well-aligned, utilizing current LEGO precision standards.
Variants
Standard (sw1065) and a Jetpack variant (sw1075). There is also a 2019 SDCC exclusive bust version, but this is the standard play-scale minifigure.
Condition Notes
The red plastic is fairly durable, but the sharp black printing on the helmet peak can rub off with heavy play. Check for 'heel cracks' on the back of the legs.
Estimated Value
$4.00 - $7.00 USD used; $8.00 - $12.00 USD new/mint condition. Prices fluctuate based on the popularity of First Order/Sith army building.
Price (New)
Available in sets ranging from $14.99 (Battle Pack) to $159.99 (Kylo Ren's Shuttle). Original individual value was linked to set MSRP.
Compatible Sets
75256 Kylo Ren's Shuttle, 75266 Sith Troopers Battle Pack, and 75279 Star Wars Advent Calendar (2020).
Character Background
The Sith Troopers were the elite soldiers of the Final Order, hidden on Exegol. They were loyal to the resurrected Darth Sidious rather than the First Order leadership.
Design Notes
The helmet is a unique mold specifically created for this character to capture the menacing, textured look seen in the film, differing from standard First Order helmets.
Similar Minifigures
First Order Stormtrooper (sw0667), First Order Jet Trooper (sw1074), and the Sith Jet Trooper (sw1075).
Collectibility
Moderate. It is a popular army builder for sequel-era fans. Value is stable but unlikely to skyrocket unless the character appears in future popular media.
History
First introduced in Oct 2019. It represented LEGO's transition to more detailed 'textured' armor printing, moving away from the simpler designs of the 2015-2017 era.
Interesting Facts
The design was revealed before the movie's release as part of a major marketing push for the 'Final Order' fleet, though the troopers had limited screen time.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in ranks or 'phalanges' on a dark grey or black baseplate to make the vibrant red color pop. Pairs perfectly with Kylo Ren and Palpatine.
Modification Potential
Excellent for custom red troopers or Sith-themed MOCs. The helmet is often used by customizers to create 'Crimson Empire' guards or red-themed bounty hunters.
Overall Assessment
A visually striking minifigure with excellent print detail. It is a standout in any Sith or Imperial collection due to its unique color and aggressive molding.
