Rarity

Uncommon / Limited Series. As a blind-bag collectible, it had a specific distribution of 3 per box of 60, making it common within the series but discontinued and finite.

Head

Medium Blue / Glow-in-the-dark skin tone. Features a double-sided print: one side is a sad/neutral expression with glasses, the other is an angry/screaming expression. Topped with a long, dark blue hairpiece with pigtails.

Torso

Sand Blue base color. Printed with a Ravenclaw school uniform robe featuring a checkered pattern, tie, and sweater detail. The torso and hands are made of glow-in-the-dark plastic.

Legs

Sand Blue short (child/teen) legs. Detailed printing on the front depicting the bottom of the school robes and a pleated skirt. The legs are also made of glow-in-the-dark plastic.

Accessories

Originally released with Tom Riddle’s Diary (black 1x2 book) and a transparent 1x2 clear brick to simulate 'floating'. The image provided shows the figure without these accessories.

Color Scheme

Monochromatic ethereal aesthetic. Primary color is Sand Blue with Dark Blue hair and Glow-in-the-Dark light green/translucent accents for the skin and highlights.

Printing Details

High quality pad printing. Features intricate checkered patterns on the torso and skirt, along with distinctive glasses printing on both facial expressions. Leg printing is limited to the front.

Variants

This is the first and only dedicated glow-in-the-dark version of Moaning Myrtle. A standard non-glow version does not exist in this mold.

Condition Notes

The Dark Blue hair piece is prone to scratching. Check for internal stress marks on the short legs. The glow-in-the-dark plastic is slightly more brittle than standard ABS; check for cracks in the torso sides/arm sockets.

Character Background

Myrtle Elizabeth Warren, known as Moaning Myrtle, is the ghost of a Muggle-born witch who haunts the girl's bathroom at Hogwarts after being killed by the Basilisk. She is a key character in 'Chamber of Secrets'.

Design Notes

Uses the newer 'poseable' short legs introduced in recent years (though they appear standard short in some photos, this CMF version features the mid-legs). The glow-in-the-dark effect is the standout technical feature.

Similar Minifigures

Nearly Headless Nick (hp151) from the Hogwarts Great Hall set; the Gray Lady (hp291).

Collectibility

High for Harry Potter completionists. The ghost characters are popular for display in Hogwarts MOCs and the glow-in-the-dark feature adds unique novelty value.

History

Launched during the second wave of LEGO Harry Potter revival (2018-present), specifically in the 2020 CMF wave that expanded the roster of secondary characters.

Interesting Facts

This was the first time LEGO used the glow-in-the-dark effect for an entire human-style minifigure body rather than just eyes or specialized ghost 'shroud' pieces.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed with the 75948 Hogwarts Clock Tower or in a custom girl's bathroom vignette. Looks best under UV light to charge the glow.

Modification Potential

The head and hair are often used for custom 'Velma' (Scooby-Doo) or school-girl figures. The glow-in-the-dark parts are highly sought after by MOC builders for supernatural scenes.

Overall Assessment

A fantastic, character-accurate figure that perfectly utilizes LEGO's material science (glow plastic) to represent her ghostly nature. A must-have for the Harry Potter theme.
