Eyezor - Jungle Jacket

Figure ID

njo111

Theme

Ninjago

Year Released

2015 - Released as part of the Season 4: Tournament of Elements wave. This era saw a shift towards more detailed character-exclusive hair/armor molds and complex torso patterns.

Rarity

Uncommon - This specific version was only available in two sets from 2015. While not ultra-limited, it has become harder to find in pristine condition due to the age and the popularity of the Ninjago villain factions.

Head

White head with printing: Olive green face mask detail, exposed mechanical red robotic eye, and orange 'Anacondrai' markings on the forehead. The back of the head is plain or has minimal continuation of the mask strap.

Torso

Black torso with olive green 'tattooed' chest printing, silver chain detail, a grey armor strap, and an orange belt. The arms are black with white hands, representing the sleeveless look common to Garmadon's cultists.

Legs

Dark blue/black legs with printing: orange belt continuation, silver chain details, and olive green fabric patterns. The printing is high-density for the era, detailing the rugged cultist aesthetic.

Accessories

Usually paired with a bone axe or a compound bow/weaponry from the Anacondrai sets. Note that the figure in the image is missing its original hair piece (Mohawk) and is wearing an aftermarket or incorrect shoulder armor piece (looks like a neck bracket/pouch).

Color Scheme

A mix of Olive Green, Black, and Charcoal Grey with bright Orange accents. This scheme is iconic to Chen's Anacondrai Cultists to mimic the skin of the legendary snakes.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing. Features intricate line work for the chain links and the mechanical lens on the face. The alignment between the torso and the hip/leg printing is a key quality marker.

Variants

Standard Eyezor (njo111) is the main version. There are no major production variants of this specific print, but other members of the cult (like Sleeven or Krait) share similar torso motifs.

Condition Notes

The white hands are prone to discoloration. The torso is frequently found with cracks under the arms. In the provided image, the figure is missing its hair/mohawk piece and seems to have incorrect accessory attachments on the neck.

Estimated Value

Used (Complete): $5-$8 USD. New/Mint: $12-$15 USD. The value decreases significantly without the original purple/mohawk hair piece which is missing in the photo.

Price (New)

Originally available in Set 70746 (Condrai Copter Attack, $29.99) and Set 70747 (Boulder Blaster, $29.99).

Compatible Sets

70746 Condrai Copter Attack (2015), 70747 Boulder Blaster (2015).

Character Background

Eyezor is a high-ranking general in Master Chen's Anacondrai Cult. He serves as a secondary antagonist during the Tournament of Elements, following Chen's orders to hunt down the Ninja in the jungle.

Design Notes

The design utilizes 'olive green' as a skin tone to represent the transformation or allegiance to the Anacondrai. The mechanical eye sets him apart from the common cultist 'foot soldiers'.

Similar Minifigures

Master Chen (njo136), Kapau (njo112), Chope (njo113), any version of Skylor or Garmadon from the Tournament of Elements wave.

Collectibility

Moderate. He is a 'completionist' figure for Ninjago fans. While not as expensive as the Elemental Masters, he is essential for recreating the Season 4 villain group.

History

Debuted in January 2015. This was the first time LEGO attempted an 'urban jungle cultist' look, moving away from the more traditional skeletons and stone warriors of previous seasons.

Interesting Facts

The character often appeared in the Ninjago TV show with a very bulky build, which the thin minifigure torso doesn't quite capture. The 'Eye-zor' name is a pun on both his mechanical eye and the word 'Eyesore'.

Display Suggestions

Place him in a jungle-themed MOC with Master Chen’s palace or alongside a Condrai Copter. Use a purple light to accentuate the Anacondrai theme.

Modification Potential

Excellent for post-apocalyptic or Mad Max-style MOCs due to the chains and mechanical eye. Parts are frequently used by customizers for 'cyberpunk' wastelanders.

Overall Assessment

A solid, mid-tier Ninjago villain. While this specific unit is missing its mohawk, the torso and leg prints are in good visible shape. Rated 7/10 for design, but lower in current state due to missing parts.
