Variants

None for this specific outfit. However, this figure is a significant upgrade from the earlier fan-requested ARC Trooper versions, utilizing unique armor molds.

Common wear points include 'arm cracks' on the sides of the torso and friction loss in the hips. Current image shows the figure is missing its head, helmet, and left-hand accessory.

Character Background

Echo was originally a ARC Trooper in the 501st Legion. After being captured by Techno Union and turned into a cyborg, he joined Force 99, a group of elite clones with genetic mutations/augmentations.

Design Notes

LEGO utilized a standard hand for the scomp link but added a gray connector. Most notable is the custom helmet mold that incorporates his cybernetic ear pieces.

Similar Minifigures

Hunter (sw1154), Tech (sw1151), Wrecker (sw1152), and Crosshair (sw1155). Together they form the full squad from the animated series.

Collectibility

High. Since the Bad Batch series concluded on Disney+, demand for the original squad in their Season 1 armor has remained very high among LEGO Star Wars completionists.

History

Follows a long line of specialized Clone Troopers. Echo was a fan favorite for nearly a decade before receiving an official 'Clone Force 99' version in 2021.

Interesting Facts

The Aurebesh on his chest does not translate to 'Echo' but rather stylized numbering consistent with his designation CT-1409.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed alongside the rest of the Bad Batch crew on a custom baseplate resembling the Kamino rainy platforms or the interior of the Havoc Marauder.

Modification Potential

Excellent. Many collectors use the torso and legs for custom Cyborg or Tech-themed MOCs. The scomp link arm can be upgraded with 3rd party custom molded prosthetic arms.

Overall Assessment

The figure shown is an incomplete but authentic Echo (sw1153) from the 2021 Bad Batch set. It remains a highly desirable figure despite missing components due to the unique torso and leg printing.
