Rarity
Uncommon. While part of a blind bag series, this series was widely available, but Metamorpho is less commonly sought after compared to heavy hitters like Batman or Wonder Woman.
Head
White head with black eyebrows and a smirk. Features unique grey line-work representing a rocky or cracked elemental texture. It is single-sided and unique to this character.
Torso
Unique split-design torso with bright orange on the right (representing his elemental mud/solid state) and magenta on the left (representing his chemical/gaseous side with scale-like patterns). Includes a light blue belt with an 'M' buckle.
Legs
Dual-colored and dual-molded legs. The right leg is tan with brown 'dripping' mud details, while the left leg is trans-clear with white/silver smoke or gas printing to represent his intangible state.
Accessories
Includes a large, oversized magenta molded fist (part 65544) that fits over the hand. In the retail pack, he also included trans-clear 'power burst' elements and a specialized jumping stand.
Color Scheme

Condition Notes
Pay close attention to the trans-clear leg. Trans-plastic is more brittle and prone to hairline cracks at the ankle or hip sockets. The oversized fist can also cause loose friction on the arm if removed/attached frequently.

Rex Mason, a.k.a. Metamorpho the Element Man. He is a founding member of the Outsiders and a frequent ally of the Justice League. His powers allow him to transmute his body into any chemical element.
Design Notes
A triumph of part usage. The use of a trans-clear leg to simulate the character's 'gaseous' foot from the comics is a creative solution that collectors highly praised at launch.

Other Outsiders or Justice League members from the 71026 series, such as classic Cheetah, Simon Baz (Green Lantern), or Stargirl.
Collectibility
