Rarity
Uncommon. This version is exclusive to a few high-value or popular sets from the initial revival wave of the Harry Potter line in 2018.
Head
Standard Light Flesh head with black eyes and white pupil highlights. It is covered by a massive, combined hair-and-beard rubberized mold in Dark Brown, which is unique to modern Hagrid figures.
Torso
Oversized 'big-figure' style torso in Medium Nougat. Features detailed Dark Brown printing of a waistcoat and a buckle belt. Hands are light flesh. This is a specialized 'half-bigfig' mold designed to show his half-giant heritage.
Legs
Short, Dark Brown legs that do not hinge, attached to the oversized torso frame via a specialized connection. Front printing depicts the bottom of his coat.
Accessories
Typically comes with his signature pink umbrella (represented by a pink wand piece) or a lantern. The figure in the image is missing these accessories.
Color Scheme
A primary palette of Medium Nougat and Dark Brown to represent his leather-heavy ranger attire. Light Flesh tones used for the visible face and hands.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso depicting buttons, fabric texture, and a silver-colored belt buckle. Printing is also present on the leg portion to continue the line of the coat.
Variants
Variations include the classic yellow-skin 2001 version, the light-tan coat version (hp009), the 'Hargid's Hut' version with a reddish-brown coat (hp241), and several micro-figure versions.
Condition Notes
Common wear includes paint rubbing on the silver buckle. Dust often accumulates in the crevices of the textured rubber beard. The arm joints on these specialized large torsos can sometimes feel 'loose' compared to standard minifigures.
Estimated Value
$5.00 - $8.00 USD (Used), $10.00 - $12.00 USD (New/Unassembled). Value is stable due to the frequent redesigns of this character.

N/A. Originally included in Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue ($59.99) and Great Hall ($99.99).
Compatible Sets
75947 (Hagrid's Hut: Buckbeak's Rescue), 75954 (Hogwarts Great Hall), 75964 (2019 Advent Calendar).
Character Background
Rubeus Hagrid is the Keeper of Keys and Grounds at Hogwarts. A half-giant, he is portrayed as a loyal friend to Harry Potter. His look is based on Robbie Coltrane's portrayal in the film franchise.
Design Notes
LEGO utilized a unique 'waist' part that sits between the torso and the legs to give him additional height and girth without making him as large as a Hulk 'Bigfig', allowing him to still interact with standard LEGO chairs and doors.
Similar Minifigures
hp262 (Hagrid in Dark Tan Overcoat), hp005 (Classic 2001 Hagrid), and various Grawp or Cave Troll figures for size comparison.
Collectibility
Moderate. Every Harry Potter fan needs a Hagrid, but because this specific 2018 mold was mass-produced across several flagship sets, it remains affordable for new collectors.
History
Hagrid was one of the first 2001 Harry Potter figures. The move to the 'medium-big-fig' design in 2018 was a major milestone, as earlier versions used a standard torso with a clumsy plastic 'over-body' piece.
Interesting Facts
The hair/beard piece is actually soft and pliable to allow for the arms to move, as a hard plastic mold of that size would have restricted the figure's articulation.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed at the entrance of a Hogwarts MOC or alongside the Trio (Harry, Ron, Hermione) to showcase the height difference.
Modification Potential
The head/beard mold is frequently used by customizers to create 'Wildmen', Vikings, or other large bearded characters due to its unique scale.
Overall Assessment
A 9/10 in terms of character accuracy. This design perfected the scale of a half-giant. It is an essential, high-quality figure for any LEGO Harry Potter collection.
