Character Background
Monstrox is the primary antagonist of Nexo Knights. Formerly a human necromancer, he was turned into a sentient cloud of dark magic. In this form, he acts as a virus that corrupts technology and commands the Stone Monster Army.
Design Notes
The use of the Sand Green lightning piece is a creative reuse of the Medusa hair mold but repurposed to look like magical energy. The absence of legs reinforces his status as a magical entity.
Similar Minifigures
Jestro (nex027), Medusa (col151), and various Stone Stompers. It shares the 'ghost bottom' with characters like the Ninjago Airjitzu ghosts.
