Figure ID

sw1113

Theme

Star Wars

Year Released

2020 (Released with set 75292 'The Razor Crest')

Rarity

Common to Uncommon. While once highly sought after, it has since appeared in many sets, though its small size makes it easy to lose, maintaining secondary market demand.

Head

Unique Sand Green rubberized head mold with large black eyes, white pupils, and faint pink highlights inside the ears. It uses a specialized neck connector for the micro-body.

Torso

Tan micro-body (baby-scale) with simple dark tan printing representing the character's oversized robe collar. The torso and legs are a single molded piece with fixed arms.

Legs

Integrated tan base (1x1 footprint) with no articulation. No leg printing is present as the robe covers the lower body.

Accessories

None included with the figure itself, though often paired with a silver pram, a silver 'shifter knob' ball, or a frog in official sets.

Color Scheme

Sand Green skin and Tan clothing. The colors accurately reflect the muted palette of The Mandalorian television series.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing on the eyes and torso. The eyes are particularly sharp with 'eyeshine' dots to give the character a lifelike appearance.

Variants

Standard version (sw1113) and a festive Christmas sweater version (sw1131) from the 2020 Star Wars Advent Calendar.

Condition Notes

The soft rubber head is prone to collecting dust and can be stained if handled with dirty hands. The neck connection can become loose over time if the head is frequently removed.

Estimated Value

New: $5.00 - $8.00 USD; Used: $3.00 - $5.00 USD. Prices are stable due to high volume of production.

Price (New)

Originally debuted in the $129.99 Razor Crest, but later became available in Microfighters priced at $9.99.

Compatible Sets

75292 The Razor Crest, 75299 Trouble on Tatooine, 75315 Imperial Light Cruiser, 75325 The Mandalorian's N-1 Starfighter, 75331 The Razor Crest (UCS), 75363 N-1 Starfighter Microfighter.

Character Background

Known officially as Grogu, he is a Force-sensitive member of the same species as Yoda. He was the primary focus of Din Djarin's mission in the Disney+ series 'The Mandalorian'.

Design Notes

LEGO opted for a customized 'baby' mold rather than a standard minifigure scale to preserve the character's tiny proportions relative to the Mandalorian.

Similar Minifigures

Master Yoda (various versions), LEGO Friends/City 'Baby' figures, and the Christmas sweater Grogu variant.

Collectibility

High popularity due to character fame, though low financial appreciation potential because of wide availability in cheap sets.

History

Launched at the height of 'Baby Yoda' mania in late 2020. This was the first time LEGO created a unique mold for a toddler-sized Star Wars character.

Interesting Facts

The initial release in set 75292 was so anticipated that the set sold out instantly and the individual figure fetched over $50 on the secondary market for the first two weeks of release.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed inside the cockpit of an N-1 Starfighter or held by the sw1085 Mandalorian minifigure. Due to its size, a clear stud-top case is recommended to prevent loss.

Modification Potential

Limited due to the specialized mold; however, the head can be placed on other 'baby' bodies for custom 'Life Day' or civilian outfits.

Overall Assessment

An essential iconic figure for any Star Wars fan. It is a perfect 1:1 translation of the character's aesthetic into the LEGO medium.
