Figure ID
col25-10
Theme
Collectible Minifigures
Year Released
2024 (January 1st)
Rarity
Uncommon / Fixed Quantity. As a Collectible Minifigure, it is distributed in specific ratios within blind boxes (typically 3 per box of 36). Its rarity is tied to the transition from foil bags to cardboard boxes, making 'feeling' the package impossible.
Head
A lime green 'dripping slime' head-mould topper that fits over a standard minifigure head. The printing on the mask features yellow glowing eyes, a messy black mouth with a green tongue sticking out, and a small fly/beetle printed on the forehead.
Torso
Olive green base color with lime green 'slime drip' printing on the front and back. Features printed details of a maggot, a fly, and brownish stains. The arms are lime green with dark brown hands.
Legs
Olive green legs with dual-molded dark brown sections or extensive dark brown 'mud' printing. Additional slime drips and a small mushroom are printed on the legs to enhance the swampy, garbage aesthetic.
Accessories
A white fish skeleton piece and a dark tan trash can (not pictured in the main focus but included in the set). The fish skeleton is a classic LEGO part (6261545) representing the monster's refuse-based diet.
Color Scheme
A sludge-themed palette consisting of Olive Green, Lime Green, Dark Brown, and Dark Tan. Accents include yellow for the eyes and grey/black for the printed insects.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the front and back of the torso, as well as the front and sides of the legs. The 'head' printing is actually on the secondary rubberized/plastic mask piece rather than the face underneath which is usually a plain lime head.
Variants
There are no official LEGO variants of this specific Series 25 figure, though it serves as a spiritual successor to various monster-themed CMFs like the Plant Monster or Swamp Creature.
Condition Notes
The lime green head-mask is made of a slightly softer plastic/rubber material which can attract dust or lint over time. Check for paint rubbing on the protruding 'drips' of the mask if stored loosely with other figures.

Character Background
The Garbage Monster is an original LEGO character designed for the Collectible Minifigures line. It represents a classic 'sludge monster' archetype, living in sewers or trash heaps, evidenced by the insects and refuse details on its body.
Design Notes
The standout feature is the oversized 'slime' headpiece which gives the figure a unique silhouette. This continues the CMF tradition of creating high-detail, niche character molds that wouldn't necessarily fit in standard City or Star Wars sets.
Similar Minifigures
Series 14 Plant Monster (col14-11), Series 4 Hazmat Suit Guy (col04-14), Hidden Side 'Mud' ghosts, and Series 19 Fright Knight (col19-5).
Collectibility
High for 'Monster' fans and CMF completionists. It is a popular 'army builder' for fans of post-apocalyptic MOCs or city-sewer dioramas.
History
Released as part of the 25th numbered edition of the LEGO Collectible Minifigures, marking a milestone in the long-running line known for artistic freedom and unique molds since 2010.
Interesting Facts
The 'Data Matrix' codes on the bottom of the Series 25 boxes allowed fans to identify the Garbage Monster without opening the box using scanner apps, a response to the community's frustration with the move away from plastic bags.
Display Suggestions
Looks best in a city alleyway scene, next to a dumpster MOC, or in a dedicated CMF display case. Use UV-protected cases to prevent the lime green and olive green from fading.
Modification Potential
The head-topper is highly sought after for custom 'Toxic Avenger' or 'Muk' (Pokémon) style customs. The olive green limbs are useful for military or forest-themed MOCs.
Overall Assessment
A 9/10 CMF entry. It perfectly captures the whimsical yet gross aesthetic LEGO does well. It offers great value due to the unique head mold and detailed leg printing.
