Theme
Star Wars
Year Released
Released in 2020 as part of the initial wave of sets for the final season of The Clone Wars.
Rarity
Uncommon. It specifically appeared in only one mid-priced retail set during its production run.
Head
A standard Mandalorian helmet in Pearl Dark Gray with blue and black t-visor printing. Beneath the helmet is a solid black 'trans-black' head piece to represent the visor gap.
Torso
Dark Blue torso with Pearl Dark Gray chest armor plates, a utility belt, and red insignias on the chest. The back features jetpack attachment printing and continues the armor plating. Blue arms and black hands.
Legs
Blue legs with a dark gray hip piece. Unlike more expensive Mandalorian figures, these legs are unprinted.
Accessories
Typically comes with two black blaster pistols and a Pearl Dark Gray jetpack (which appears to be missing in the provided photo).
Color Scheme
A mix of Dark Blue and Pearl Dark Gray with accents of black and subtle red markings.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso and helmet. The printing is sharp with good contrast between the gray armor and the blue base.
Variants
This is the standard version. It is often confused with the Mandalorian Super Commando (sw1097) which features a red and black color scheme.
Condition Notes
Watch for scratches on the helmet dome and neck-area wear on the torso from the jetpack piece. The blue plastic is generally resistant to fading.
Estimated Value
New: $15-$20 | Used (Complete): $10-$14 | Used (As shown, missing jetpack/weapons): $6-$8.
Price (New)
Included in set 75283 (AAT) which retailed for $39.99 USD.
Compatible Sets
Set 75283: Armored Assault Tank (AAT).
Character Background
These are Mandalorian warriors loyal to Bo-Katan Kryze and the Resistance during the Siege of Mandalore, fighting against Darth Maul's Shadow Collective.
Design Notes
The helmet printing is highly accurate to the animated series style. The use of a plain blue leg piece was a cost-saving measure for a set that also included Ahsoka Tano.
Similar Minifigures
Mandalorian Super Commando (sw1097), Bo-Katan Kryze (sw1163), and the various Mandalorians from the 7914 Battle Pack.
Collectibility
Moderately high. Army builders frequently buy multiples to create a loyalist squad, keeping demand steady even after set retirement.
History
Launched in the summer 2020 wave, this figure marked the first time 'The Clone Wars' Mandalorians were updated with modern printing techniques since 2011.
Interesting Facts
The red markings on the chest are the 'jaig eyes' or similar Mandalorian honor sigils, representing bravery in combat.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed lead by a Bo-Katan figure, or attacking an AAT tank droids for a Siege of Mandalore diorama.
Modification Potential
Great for purist customs; adding printed blue legs from other Mandalorian figures can significantly 'upgrade' the look of this figure.
Overall Assessment
A solid, high-detail trooper figure that suffers slightly from its unprinted legs but remains a staple for Clone Wars era collectors.
