Figure ID

Theme

Star Wars

Year Released

Released in 2022 as part of the 20th Anniversary celebration of Attack of the Clones.

Rarity

Uncommon. While only found in one set so far, that set was widely available. However, as the first-ever Kaminoan minifigure, demand is high.

Head

A unique, specialized long-neck mold made of white hard plastic with black almond-shaped eyes, grey facial detailing, and a small dorsal fin.

Torso

Black torso with white and light-blue armor printing, a circular belt emblem, and black arms with white hands. High-detail printing extends to the back.

Legs

A 2x2x2 sloped 'dress' brick in black with light-blue and lavender vertical stripe printing to represent Kaminoan robes.

Accessories

Usually none included specifically for the character, though the set contains a holoprojector with a Darth Sidious hologram.

Color Scheme

Primary colors are White and Black, with Sand Blue and Lavender accents used for the garment detailing and facial shading.

Printing Details

Excellent resolution; the torso features clean lines for the Kaminoan collar, and the head printing perfectly captures the serene, alien expression.

Variants

This is currently the only release and variant of Taun We and the Kaminoan species in LEGO history.

Condition Notes

Main concern is the long-neck piece; it is a specialized mold that can be prone to stress marks at the base or scuffing on the eye printing.

Estimated Value

Currently valued between $12.00 - $18.00 USD for the figure alone, depending on condition and market platform.

Price (New)

Included in set 75333 (Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter) which retailed for $29.99 USD.

Compatible Sets

75333 Obi-Wan Kenobi's Jedi Starfighter (2022).

Character Background

Taun We was the Administrative Aide to Prime Minister Lama Su on Kamino. She greeted Obi-Wan Kenobi upon his arrival and guided him through the cloning facility.

Design Notes

Fans waited 20 years for this figure. LEGO chose to use a specialized head/neck mold rather than a standard head with a neck extension, ensuring better stability and accuracy.

Similar Minifigures

Lama Su (only available as a custom or in video games), and other sleek alien figures like Tion Medon (though none share this specific neck mold).

Collectibility

High. Being the first of her species and a long-requested character from the Prequel Trilogy, she is a staple for Star Wars collection completionists.

History

Taun We's debut in 2022 marked the first time LEGO addressed the unique anatomy of the Kaminoans in physical brick form after decades of absence in sets.

Interesting Facts

Before this official release, Taun We was a character frequently requested in LEGO Star Wars video games where she used a generic tall character model.

Display Suggestions

Ideal for display in a Kaminoan cloning facility MOC or alongside the 75333 Jedi Starfighter; best kept in a dust-proof case to protect the white plastic.

Modification Potential

Parts are highly specific, but the 'dress' slope is excellent for other regal or formal custom figures. The neck piece is difficult to repurpose for non-Kaminoans.

Overall Assessment

A landmark minifigure for Star Wars fans. The unique mold and faithful printing make it a standout piece of 2022's lineup. Rating: 9/10.
