2016 (Debuted in set 76058)
Rarity
Uncommon / Retired. While it appeared in a mid-priced set, it is the only version of this specific character ever released by LEGO, making it highly desirable.
Head
Yellow head with unique Hobgoblin print: red eyes, menacing grin with bared teeth, and yellow textured skin. It is double-sided, featuring a different sinister expression on the reverse.
Torso
Bright Orange torso with green arms and dark bluish gray hands. Printing features a brown satchel strap, tattered tunic lines, and a brown utility belt with a gold buckle.
Legs
Dark Blue legs with bright orange boots (dual-molded or printed) and a bright orange hip piece with a printed vertical stripe.
Accessories
Includes a bright orange hood/cowl. In its original set, it also came with a purple cape (cloth), a flaming pumpkin bomb (trans-orange), and a brick-built Goblin Glider.
Color Scheme
A classic 'spooky' palette of Bright Orange, Green, and Dark Blue, following the character's 1980s comic book appearances.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing with excellent alignment. Detailing includes the texture of the face/skin and the weathered look of the satchel and belt. Dual-molding on the legs adds premium value.
Variants
There are no official LEGO variants of the Hobgoblin character. This is the definitive and only version released to date (2016-present).
Condition Notes
Common wear points include the neck area from the hood piece and the printing on the toes of the orange boots. The purple cloth cape is prone to fraying if handled frequently.
Estimated Value
Current market value is approximately $25 - $35 USD for a used version and $40+ USD for new/mint condition. Prices fluctuate based on the completeness (cape and pumpkin bomb).

Originally available in set 76058 Spider-Man: Ghost Rider Team-Up for $19.99 USD retail.

Character Background
Roderick Kingsley (or Jason Macendale), a mercenary who discovered the Green Goblin's secret caches and refined the formula. He is one of Spider-Man's most enduring and tactical adversaries.
Design Notes
The figure uses a standard hood element rather than a specialized mold, relying on very strong graphic design in the face printing to convey the character's unique look.
Similar Minifigures
Green Goblin (sh008), Green Goblin - Big Head (sh102), and various Spider-Man villains from the 2010s era of Marvel Super Heroes.
Collectibility
High. Because it is the only Hobgoblin figure Produced by LEGO and appeared in a single, now-retired set, it is a staple for Marvel and Spider-Man completionists.
History
Launched during the height of the Marvel Super Heroes 'Bridge Battle' and 'Ghost Rider' wave. It marked the first time LEGO branched into 'B-list' villains beyond the Green Goblin.
Interesting Facts
Despite being a major villain, it took 14 years of LEGO Spider-Man sets before Hobgoblin made his first and only appearance. Fans often mistake him for the Green Goblin at a distance due to the shared glider motif.
Display Suggestions
Display on a clear trans-clear stand to simulate his glider in flight. Looks best when grouped with the 'Sinister Six' or alongside the 2016 Ghost Rider figure.
Modification Potential
Commonly modified by fans with custom tattered orange cloth capes or modified gliders to look more like the 90s animated series version.
Overall Assessment
A standout figure of the 2016 Marvel lineup. Its unique color blocking and face print make it instantly recognizable and a high-value asset for any Marvel collector.
