Eyezor - Trans-Neon Green Legs

Figure ID

njo127

Theme

Ninjago

Year Released

2015

Rarity

Common to Uncommon. While easily accessible at launch, this specific variant with trans-neon green legs is exclusive to three sets from the early Ninjago Master of the Mountain/Tournament of Elements era.

Head

Bright green head with printed high-tech goggles/eyepatch (green lens), scarred mouth, and an angry expression. The headgear is a Dark Blue Ninja Wrap (Anacondrai version).

Torso

Dark purple and black printing depicting bone armor and a reptilian cultist sash. Features lime green accent prints and dark blue arms with lime green hands.

Legs

Notably unique Trans-Neon Green legs (transparent). Features printed purple loincloth and black scale/bone detailing on the front. This is a standout feature for collectors due to the transparent plastic.

Accessories

In the photo, the figure is wearing a Dark Blue Anacondrai neck armor piece. In original sets, he often carried a jagged bone axe or a dagger.

Color Scheme

A striking mixture of Dark Purple, Dark Blue, Lime Green, and Trans-Neon Green. This palette is synonymous with Chen's Anacondrai Cultists.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing on the torso (front/back) and legs. The printing on the transparent legs is particularly impressive as it retains opacity where needed while showcasing the 'ghostly' green glow of the plastic.

Variants

There are several 'Anacondrai' soldier variants. Eyezor specifically has a version with standard solid legs, but this trans-neon version (njo127) is the most visually distinct.

Condition Notes

The transparent legs are prone to internal stress fractures (spider webbing) if the figure is played with heavily or stored in extreme temperatures. The dark blue armor piece can also develop white stress marks at the neck ring.

Estimated Value

Used: $5.00 - $8.00 USD. New/Mint: $10.00 - $15.00 USD. Value is relatively stable but high-condition transparent legs command a slight premium.

Price (New)

Originally released in sets ranging from the Jungle Trap ($6.99) to the Enter the Serpent temple ($59.99). The figure was a common foot soldier within that wave.

Compatible Sets

70746 Condrai Copter Attack, 70750 Ninja DB X, 70752 Jungle Trap.

Character Background

Eyezor is a high-ranking general in Master Chen's Anacondrai Cult. He served as a recurring antagonist in Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu Season 4, seeking to transform the cultists into 'true' Anacondrai snakes.

Design Notes

The use of transparent legs was a creative choice by LEGO to represent the mystical/magical energy of the cultists. It remains one of the few instances where transparent lower assemblies were used for a non-ghost character.

Similar Minifigures

Chope (njo116), Kapau (njo115), and Sleeven—all members of the same Anacondrai Cult with similar purple/bone aesthetics.

Collectibility

Moderate. He is essential for fans of the Tournament of Elements arc. His value is tied mostly to the rarity of the Trans-Neon Green leg piece, which is useful for custom builders (MOCs).

History

Released during the peak of Ninjago's 'second life' in 2015, following the theme's return from a planned cancellation. This era solidified the elaborate, lore-heavy character designs the theme is known for.

Interesting Facts

The 'Eyezor' head print features a tactical eye sensor, which is a rare blend of sci-fi tech and tribal fantasy within the Ninjago universe.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed with UV backlighting to make the transparent neon legs 'pop.' Pair with Master Chen and other cultists on a purple or tan baseplate to simulate the island setting.

Modification Potential

The transparent legs are highly sought after by 'purist' customizers to create ghosts, radiation-mutated characters, or sci-fi energy beings.

Overall Assessment

A solid, mid-tier Ninjago figure. While he isn't the most expensive, the unique transparent plastic parts and the vibrant purple/green contrast make him a visually rewarding addition to any collection.
