Year Released

First released in 2022 as part of the initial wave of sets based on the Disney+ 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' limited series.

Rarity

Uncommon to Rare. While not a limited edition, he was exclusive to one medium-sized set (75336) and remains the most detailed version of this character released to date.

Head

White head with unique Pau'an facial printing. Features dark grey sunken eye sockets, yellow Sith-like eyes, and the character's signature red geometric facial markings.

Torso

Black torso with detailed imperial armor printing. Features silver/grey control panels, a red accent light, and the Inquisitorius emblem on the left chest. Includes black arms and black hands.

Legs

Black legs with dark grey armor plate printing on the hips and thighs. The printing continues down the front of the legs to represent tactical boots and leggings.

Accessories

Includes specialized black pointed shoulder armor and a black cloth cape. Usually paired with a unique round lightsaber hilt (not shown in image) and two red lightsaber blades.

Color Scheme

Highly monochromatic Sith-inspired scheme: primary Black and White with light grey/silver accents and small hits of red in the printing.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing on the head, torso (front and back), and legs (front). The alignment on the belt and chest armor is typically very precise for this era.

Variants

This is the 'Kenobi' show version (sw1215). A previous animated-style version (sw0621) exists from the Rebels theme (2015), which has a significantly different, taller head piece and different torso printing.

Condition Notes

Check for fraying on the cloth cape. The white head printing can be prone to skin oils or dirt staining. Common stress marks can occur on the neck where the shoulder plate sits.

Estimated Value

Used: $18.00 - $25.00 USD. New: $30.00+ USD. The price varies significantly depending on if the specialized lightsaber hilt is included.

Price (New)

Contained in set 75336 (Inquisitor Transport Scythe) which originally retailed for approximately $99.99 USD.

Compatible Sets

75336 Inquisitor Transport Scythe (2022).

Character Background

A Pau'an male who served the Galactic Empire as the leader of the Inquisitorius, tasked with hunting down Jedi survivors of Order 66. Formerly a Jedi Temple Guard.

Design Notes

LEGO chose to use a standard minifigure head mold rather than the elongated head mold seen in the 'Rebels' version to better reflect the actor's appearance in the live-action series.

Similar Minifigures

Fifth Brother (sw1216), Reva - Third Sister (sw1217), and the original Rebels-style Grand Inquisitor (sw0621).

Collectibility

High. Villains from Star Wars media are always in demand, and the Grand Inquisitor is the centerpiece of the Kenobi-era Inquisitor team.

History

Represents the evolution of Inquisitor designs from stylized animation (2015) to realistic live-action interpretations (2022).

Interesting Facts

The red lines on his head are part of the Pau'an biology but serve to make the character look more menacing; LEGO captured these with high fidelity compared to the live-action source material.

Display Suggestions

Display alongside the Inquisitor Transport Scythe or in a scene with Obi-Wan Kenobi. Use a black display stand to accentuate the 'Dark Side' aesthetic.

Modification Potential

Excellent for custom Imperial officers or other Inquisitors. The shoulder armor is very popular for MOCs (My Own Creations) involving custom armored characters.

Overall Assessment

An excellent 9/10 minifigure. It perfectly captures the menacing aura of the character and features exclusive armor pieces that make it a standout in any modern Star Wars collection.
