Variants
This is the 2022/2023 updated version. It differs from the 1993 original (cas249) which lacked torso printing and had a glow-in-the-dark wand. It also differs from the version in set 40601 which is nearly identical but features different staff/accessory configurations.
Condition Notes
The hat printing is susceptible to rubbing wear. The beard piece can develop 'stress marks' at the neck clip if removed frequently. Check for 'heel cracks' on the back of the blue legs.

Character Background
Majisto is the legendary wizard of the Dragon Knights (and later Lion Knights) faction. Originally debuted in 1993, he was one of the first LEGO minifigures to have a proper name and unique identity.
Design Notes
This design is a faithful 'Remaster' of the classic 1993 figure. It keeps the iconic blue hat and white beard but adds modern leg and torso printing to meet current 'Icons' series standards.
