Rarity
Uncommon. This figure was exclusive to a single mid-range set (76025) which is now retired. While not ultra-rare, its value remains steady due to character popularity.
Head
Magenta base color. Features a dual-sided print: one side with an angry/grimacing expression showing teeth and a black mustache, the other with a confident smirk. Both sides feature glowing yellow eyes and pinkish cheek line details.
Torso
Black with a dark blue and yellow 'Sinestro Corps' logo on the chest. The design features yellow muscular outlining and blue-and-yellow color blocking consistent with the New 52 comic design. Arms are black with yellow hands.
Legs
Black legs with no printing. The hip piece is also black.
Accessories
Typically comes with a translucent yellow 'Power Staff' (a yellow light blade piece with a handle) and a translucent yellow 'Power Battery' (lantern). Inside the set, he also utilized a yellow 'power cage' build.
Color Scheme
The character uses a striking Magenta skin tone contrasted against a Black and Yellow 'Sinestro Corps' uniform. This color palette is unique to the Green Lantern sub-line.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the head (dual-sided) and the front and back of the torso. The torso print is crisp, particularly the small Corps emblem, though it lacks leg and arm printing which was common for 2015 mid-range sets.
Variants
This is the only standard LEGO minifigure version of Sinestro produced to date. A 'Mighty Micros' version exists (sh249) but serves as a stylized, short-legged caricature rather than a standard variant.
Condition Notes
The magenta head is prone to visible scratches and 'scuffing' due to the dark plastic base. The torso printing, particularly the yellow lines, can fade or wear at the edges with heavy play. Check for hairline cracks in the torso sides.
Estimated Value
The full minifigure is valued between $10.00 and $15.00 USD (Used) and $18.00 to $25.00 USD (New/Like New). The head alone (pictured) typically sells for approximately $4.00 to $6.00 USD.
Price (New)
Originally released in set 76025 'Green Lantern vs. Sinestro' which retailed for $19.99 USD in 2015.

Character Background
Thaal Sinestro is the arch-nemesis of Green Lantern Hal Jordan. Once considered the greatest Green Lantern, he was dishonorably discharged for using fear to rule his planet. He founded the Sinestro Corps, wielding the yellow light of fear.
Design Notes
LEGO chose the modern 'New 52' comic book aesthetic for this figure, emphasizing the darker black/blue/yellow suit over the classic blue/black era. The magenta skin tone is a perfect match for his Korugarian heritage.
Similar Minifigures
Hal Jordan (sh145), Batman - Space Suit (sh142), Martian Manhunter (sh095), and the Mighty Micros Sinestro (sh249).
Collectibility
High. As the only realistic version of a major DC villain, he is essential for Justice League collectors. Being tied to a single, retired set makes him a focal point for DC LEGO investors.
History
Debuted in the first wave of 2015 DC Super Heroes sets. This era marked a transition where LEGO began exploring more 'cosmic' DC characters beyond just Batman and Superman.
Interesting Facts
The headpiece is highly sought after by customizers for other alien characters due to the rare magenta plastic color. Despite being a major villain, he has only ever appeared in this one LEGO set.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed on a translucent yellow flight stand or inside a display case alongside Green Lantern. Using a back-light can make his translucent yellow accessories 'pop' against his dark suit.
Modification Potential
Excellent for 'purist' customs. The head is frequently used for custom Star Wars aliens (like pink Twi'leks or unique species) or other comic book characters like Marvel's Gladiator.
Overall Assessment
A standout figure from the 2015 lineup. The unique skin tone and crisp torso printing make it a high-quality representation of the character. It is a 'buy' for DC completionists given the lack of a remake in nearly a decade.
