2011 - Part of the original Ninjago launch wave.
Rarity
Common to Uncommon. While mass-produced in early sets, finding them without broken arms or missing armor is increasingly difficult.
Head
White skeleton head with a unique Krazi 'crazed' face print featuring large black eye sockets and a jagged toothy grin.
Torso
Standard skeleton torso with specialized clip-on shoulder armor. The armor is dark bluish gray with two white horns and a red skull emblem.
Legs
Standard skeleton legs with a black loincloth (tassels) print on the hip piece.
Accessories
Usually equipped with a flail or bone weapons (not shown in image). The white shoulder armor with horns is considered a removable part of the figure assembly.
Color Scheme
Primary white (bone) with dark bluish gray and black accents, and a distinct red skull icon on the chest armor.
Printing Details
High quality pad printing on the head and hip piece. The chest detail is actually a separate plate clipped to the skeleton torso.
Variants
Standard version (njo011) and a DX version with a different hat/armor configuration. This is the standard 2011 skeleton warrior version.
Condition Notes
Extremely prone to 'limp' or broken arm clips. The vertical clips holding the arms frequently snap. The image shows several missing components (right arm, left leg).
Estimated Value
$3.00 - $6.00 USD for a complete figure in good condition. The incomplete figure shown is worth roughly $1.00 - $2.00 for parts.
Price (New)
Available in sets ranging from $4.99 (Spinners) to $69.99 (Garmadon's Dark Fortress).
Compatible Sets
2116 Krazi, 2505 Garmadon's Dark Fortress, 2507 Fire Temple, 2260 Ice Dragon Attack.
Character Background
Krazi is the skeleton general/soldier of Lightning in Lord Garmadon's Skulkin Army. He is known for his hyperactive and insane personality.
Design Notes
Features the second-generation LEGO skeleton body (ball-joint shoulders) used before Ninjago moved to more traditional minifigure-style villains.
Similar Minifigures
Frakjaw (njo017), Wyplash (njo016), Chopov (njo014), and Bonezai (njo012).
Collectibility
Moderate. Nostalgic for original Ninjago fans, though Skulkin figures are often viewed as 'army builders' rather than high-value centerpieces.
History
Debuted in the very first wave of Ninjago, marking the transition of the LEGO skeleton from 'Castle' prop to fully-realized character.
Interesting Facts
The armor piece is actually a Plate 2x2 with vertical clips (Modified) that attaches to the torso's ribcage, a unique build technique for the era.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside other Skulkin generals or in a battle scene with the original 2011 Ninjago ninjas (Kai, Jay, Cole, Zane).
Modification Potential
Arms and legs are easily swapped with other skeleton colors (black/tan) for custom undead warriors.
Overall Assessment
A classic piece of LEGO history from the birth of Ninjago. While currently incomplete in the photo, a restored version is essential for any Ninjago completionist.
