These soldiers represented a villainous raiding faction in the Kingdoms lore. While never appearing in a movie, they are fan-favorites because they look like 'Cthulhu cultists' or fantasy pirates.
Design Notes
The use of Dark Azure against Reddish Brown was revolutionary for the Castle theme at the time. It utilized the Ninjago-style mask in a medieval context very effectively.
