Character Background
Greeata Jendovanian is a Rodian-born singer and dancer who performed in the Max Rebo Band at Jabba the Hutt's Palace in Return of the Jedi (Special Edition).
Design Notes
LEGO utilized the standard Rodian head mold for other characters, but for Greeata, they opted for an 'alien-humanoid' look with a standard minifigure head and unique hair mold to capture her specific 1997 Special Edition appearance.
Similar Minifigures
Oola (sw0306), Max Rebo (sw0486), Rystáll Sant (sw0448, fan custom often paired), and Bib Fortuna (sw0407).
Collectibility
High. Since she is part of the 'Jabba's Palace' collection—one of the most popular sub-niches in Star Wars LEGO—she remains in steady demand.
History
Part of the 2012-2013 wave where LEGO significantly expanded the roster of background characters for the Jabba the Hutt story arc, utilizing improved printing technology for more accurate costume details.
Interesting Facts
Greeata was a friend of the Twi'lek dancer Oola and attempted to help her escape Jabba's clutches in expanded universe lore.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed inside set 9516 Jabba's Palace or attached to the 75005 Rancor Pit directly beneath the trap door to recreate the scene where she watches the execution.
Modification Potential
The head and hair are popular for creating custom Rodian civilians or other alien dancers for Star Wars MOCs.
Overall Assessment
A fantastic secondary character that adds essential flavor to any Star Wars original trilogy collection. Excellent torso print quality and a unique hair mold make her a standout despite the plain legs.
