Character Background
Pythor is the antagonist leader of the Anacondrai tribe. This white version represents his appearance after being bleached by the Great Devourer's stomach acid.
Design Notes
First introduction of the 'short' Pythor neck variant compared to the original 2012 version. The use of a tail piece instead of legs is a signature of the Serpentine generals.
Similar Minifigures
Pythor (njo041), Pythor Legacy (njo544), Arcturus (njo130), Anacondrai Cultists.
Collectibility
High. This is considered the 'grail' figure for many Ninjago collectors due to its unique color and limited release.
History
Initially introduced in 2012 as a purple snake, his reappearance in 2015 as a 'bleached' white version was a significant fan-requested update.
Interesting Facts
The red script on his robe piece translates to 'ANACONDA' in the Ninjago alphabet.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside other Serpentine generals or inside a dedicated Ninjago villain gallery case.
Modification Potential
The tail piece is often used for custom snake-like MOCs; the head is a highly coveted part for custom Serpentine builds.
Overall Assessment
A top-tier Ninjago collectible. It is a visually striking figure with high secondary market value and deep lore significance.
