Rarity
Uncommon. This torso is exclusive to a single retail set released in 2016 and a 2018 polybag appearance. While not ultra-rare, the set was discontinued quickly, increasing its desirability among Marvel collectors.
Head
Missing in image. The official piece features a white skull with orange/yellow flame printing and a unique translucent orange flame hair/hat piece (Part 25293).
Torso
Black torso with a leather biker jacket design. Features silver stud/zipper printing on the lapels and a metallic chain wrapped across the front and back. Features black arms and black hands.
Legs
Missing in image. The official minifigure uses plain black legs.
Accessories
Missing in image. Generally includes a chain weapon (trans-orange or silver) and his signature Hell Cycle motorcycle build.
Color Scheme
Primary color is black with metallic silver accents for the chain and zippers. The full figure is accented by trans-orange elements representing hellfire.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the front and back of the torso. Notable for the sharp metallic silver ink used for the chains which has a reflective quality.
Variants
None for this specific version. A later 2021 version (sh699) exists with a different torso print, featuring a slightly different jacket style and different leg printing.
Condition Notes
Main concern is the silver print on the torso lapels which can rub off with play. The neck stud shows no signs of 'cracking', which is a common issue with darker plastic torsos from this era.

Character Background
Johnny Blaze, the Spirit of Vengeance. A stunt motorcyclist who sold his soul to Mephisto. He is a core member of the Marvel supernatural universe.
Design Notes
First time Ghost Rider appeared in a traditional, non-classic LEGO style. The torso design accurately captures the 'biker' aesthetic essential to the character.
Similar Minifigures
Ghost Rider (sh699), Robbie Reyes Ghost Rider, Punisher (sh252), and various leather-clad Batman or City figures.
Collectibility
High. LEGO Ghost Rider figures are niche and highly sought after by Marvel completionists. This specific torso is the best representation of the classic Johnny Blaze look.
History
Debuted as part of the 2016 Super Heroes wave. It remains one of the few instances where LEGO produced a character with a 'hell' or 'demonic' theme, albeit toned down.
Interesting Facts
The chain printing on the torso matches the actual plastic chain accessory included in the set, a nice touch of continuity by the graphic designers.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed on a custom Hell Cycle build or alongside other 'Midnight Sons' characters like Moon Knight or Blade (Customs).
Modification Potential
The torso is highly versatile for custom figures, particularly for biker gangs, metal musicians, or leather-jacketed characters like Indiana Jones or Han Solo variants.
Overall Assessment
The torso in the image is a genuine LEGO part sh273. It is in good 'played with' condition. As a standalone piece, it is a great part for MOCs, but it requires the expensive flame-head piece to reach full collector value.
