Head
Black head piece with a white luchador-style mask print, featuring red eye slits and a silver/grey breathing apparatus design on the mouth area. Single-sided print.
Torso
Black torso featuring a large red 'B' logo, muscular detail lines, and a silver utility belt with a red center buckle. Arms are light flesh-toned to represent bare skin with black hands representing gloves.
Legs
Plain black legs without printing. The hip piece is also black.
Accessories
Commonly paired with a clear neck bracket and a green 'Venom' tube assembly in the set (not pictured), but the base figure consists of the head, torso, and legs.
Color Scheme
Primarily black with accents of red, white, and silver. Flesh-toned arms provide a distinct contrast representing the character's sleeveless tank top design.
Printing Details
Classic pad printing on the head and torso. The white ink on the black head piece is remarkably opaque for the era, and the red 'B' is well-aligned. No leg or arm printing.
Variants
This is the comic-inspired version. Variants include 'sh062' (The Dark Knight Rises version), 'sh219' (short legs), and various Mighty Micros/shredder-style versions.
Condition Notes
Check for torso cracks at the armpits and stress marks on the neck. The black head is prone to visible scratches. Light flesh-tone arms can discolour if exposed to UV lighthouse.
Estimated Value
Approximately $15 - $25 USD used; $30+ in mint condition. The value is influenced by the character's popularity in DC lore.

Character Background
Bane is a supervillain known as 'The Man Who Broke the Bat.' He gained superhuman strength from a drug called Venom. This figure represents his classic comic appearance.
Design Notes
Notable for being the first 'Modern' era Bane. It uses standard minifigure proportions rather than a big-fig mold, which LEGO would later use for the character.
Similar Minifigures
sh062 Bane (Movie version), bat021 Bane (2007 original), and various Batman 'Rogues Gallery' figures from the 2012 era.
Collectibility
High. Essential for fans of the DC Universe 'Comics' line. It serves as the definitive standard Bane for many 'purist' collectors.
History
Released during the first wave of the rebooted DC Super Heroes line in 2012. It replaced the extremely rare 2007 version and became the standard for several years.
Interesting Facts
This specific figure is often customized by fans using 'Big-Fig' arms or power-burst elements to simulate his Venom-induced growth.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed alongside the 2012 Batman and Robin. Use a green translucent tube accessory to enhance his 'Venom' look.
Modification Potential
Great for MOCs. The torso is excellent for custom wrestlers or street thugs. Many fans swap the legs for printed tactical legs to modernize the look.
Overall Assessment
An iconic and sturdy representation of a top-tier villain. A solid 8/10 for its era, highly recommended for DC completionists due to its classic comic aesthetic.
