Head
Magenta skin tone with a double-sided head. One side features a slight smirk and thin mustache; the other features an angry, yelling expression. Black Elvis-style swept-back hair piece.
Torso
Black torso with yellow and black Sinestro Corps uniform printing. Features the Sinestro Corps insignia on the chest. Back printing includes continuation of the yellow suit patterns. Yellow hands.
Legs
Black legs with yellow boots. The printing includes a yellow 'V' shape belt pattern and yellow printing on the lower legs to represent tall boots.

Identified from set 76025: originally included a yellow power staff (trans-yellow spear) and a yellow power battery (lantern) held by a specialized clear handle element.

Character Background
Thaal Sinestro is the arch-nemesis of Green Lantern Hal Jordan. A former Green Lantern himself, he was expelled for his dictatorial methods and harnessed the yellow light of fear to form the Sinestro Corps.
Design Notes
Effective use of the magenta skin tone which was relatively rare at the time for licensed heads. The boot printing was a welcome addition to avoid plain black legs.
Similar Minifigures
sh143 Green Lantern (Hal Jordan), sh145 Space Batman, and other Lantern-corps related figures like Saint Walker or Atrocitus (though those were from different eras/promos).
