Figure ID

Theme
Ninjago
Year Released
2023
Rarity
Common to Uncommon. Appeared in three sets during the launch wave of the Dragons Rising series, making him relatively accessible but necessary for fans of the new era.
Head
Medium Lavender head piece featuring a distinct tiger-like mold (special molded head). It includes printed white eyes with purple pupils, dark purple facial markings, and bared white teeth. It lacks traditional hair but features a black top-knot ponytail piece.
Torso
Light Bluish Gray torso with Medium Lavender arms and hands. Printing features a white and silver armor plate with a small orange and black emblem, ribbed brown padding, and a white belt. The back includes printed armor plating details.
Legs
Medium Lavender legs with black hips. Detailed printing includes brown armor plates on the loincloth area and golden/brown shin guards with metallic accents. Side printing is not present.
Accessories
Includes a black ponytail/top-knot hairpiece (Part 65249). In sets, he is often equipped with a large brick-built hammer or golden weapons, though none are held in the primary photo.
Color Scheme
A unique palette of Medium Lavender, White, Light Bluish Gray, and Brown. The lavender skin tone is a signature trait of the character and the 'Imperium' faction aesthetics.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso and legs. The head is a custom sculpt with integrated printing. The alignment on the 'loincloth' print on the legs is a common focal point for quality assessment.
Variants
njo811 is the standard Season 1 version. A newer variant exists (njo874) featuring a more ornate gold and dark blue 'Shadow Dojo' aesthetic from Season 2.
Condition Notes
Main concern is the 'clutch power' of the neck post due to the bulky white armor piece (Part 79653) which can cause the head to sit loosely if the plastic is stressed. The ponytail is also prone to being lost.
Estimated Value
Used: $3.00 - $5.00 USD; New: $5.00 - $8.00 USD. Value is currently stable as the sets are still relatively recent or just retiring.
Price (New)
Appeared in sets ranging from $19.99 (71789) to $69.99 (71793). He was not sold as a standalone figure.
Compatible Sets
71789 Kai and Ras's Car and Bike Battle, 71793 Heatwave Transforming Lava Dragon, and 71796 Elemental Dragon vs. The Empress Mech.
Character Background
Lord Ras is the primary antagonist of the early Dragons Rising series. He is a tiger-like humanoid from a mysterious realm who serves as a high-ranking commander for the Imperium, seeking to capture dragons to harness their energy.
Design Notes
This figure marks a departure for Ninjago by introducing more unique, non-humanoid head molds for villains. The white shoulder armor is a separate piece that fits over the torso neck.
Similar Minifigures
General Vangelis (njo603), Killow (njo402), or other 'Tiger-themed' figures like those found in the Legends of Chima line (e.g., Tazar or Trakkar).
Collectibility
Moderate. While common, he is the 'big bad' of the new Ninjago era, making him essential for completionists following the Dragons Rising storyline.
History
Debuted in Summer 2023 as part of the soft-reboot of the Ninjago franchise. This version represents his first physical appearance in LEGO form.
Interesting Facts
Despite his feline appearance, his origin realm remains a mystery in the lore. He is one of the few Ninjago villains to use a completely custom-molded head rather than a helmet or standard minifigure head.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed alongside Imperium Claws or opposite the new protagonists Arin and Sora. Using a transparent 'power blast' piece helps simulate his use of Source Dragon energy.
Modification Potential
The head piece is popular for MOC (My Own Creations) builders creating custom Rakshasa or feline warriors for D&D-style builds. The armor piece is highly versatile for space/sci-fi customs.
Overall Assessment
A solid 8/10 for design. The custom head mold and unique color palette make him stand out from previous Ninjago villains. He is an affordable but striking addition to any collection.
