Rarity
Uncommon. While common in the sets it appears in, this specific version has been superseded by newer molds, making it a target for specific collection fillers.
Head
Tan head wrap mold with integrated silver spikes, metallic silver eye filters, and a dark brown mouthpiece area with silver breathing apparatus details.
Torso
Tan torso with diagonal reddish brown bandolier belts crossing the chest, a silver/red canister at the neck, and waist wrap printing.
Legs
Tan legs with printed robe folds and tattered hem lines at the bottom of the shins. No side printing.
Accessories
Missing in image. Usually equipped with a Gaderffii (Gaffi Stick) made of a dark bluish gray bar and spike elements.
Color Scheme
A monochromatic Tan base with Reddish Brown, Dark Brown, and Metallic Silver accents to mimic desert camouflage.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso and legs. The head features complex molded-in detail combined with printed silver and brown highlights.
Variants
Earlier versions (sw0052) used a plain head with a separate air tank accessory. Newer versions (sw1074) have updated printing and different spike orientations.
Condition Notes
The silver paint on the head spikes is prone to rubbing off. Check the 'neck' of the head mold for cracks, as well as the torso sides.

Character Background
Also known as Sand People, these are nomadic indigenous people of the desert planet Tatooine, known for their xenophobic behavior and distinctive wrappings.
Design Notes
This version introduced the highly detailed molded head piece which was a significant upgrade over the 2002 version's simple printed head.
Similar Minifigures
sw0052 (Original Tusken), sw1074 (Updated printing), sw1183 (Tusken Warrior from Book of Boba Fett).
Collectibility
Moderate. Builders often want them in large numbers (army building), which keeps demand steady despite the figure not being extremely rare.
History
This 2015 iteration marked the standard for Tusken Raiders for nearly five years before minor printing updates were introduced in 2020.
Interesting Facts
The silver spikes on the head are actually intended to be moisture traps and sensors according to Star Wars lore.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in large groups or flanking a Bantha or a Tatooine-based vehicle like the Landspeeder.
Modification Potential
Excellent for MOCs. The tan parts are useful for various desert-themed customs or post-apocalyptic survivors.
Overall Assessment
A solid, era-defining minifigure. While not the most expensive, it remains the definitive look for the classic 1977-style Sand People in LEGO form.
