Rarity
Rare. This figure was exclusive to a single, high-demand retail set that was also a store exclusive in many regions (Toys R Us), making it harder to find on the secondary market today.
Head
Medium Flesh skin tone with detailed eye and mouth printing. Features a unique, rubbery combined hair and headpiece that includes his Zabrak horns and long dark braids hanging over his shoulders.
Torso
Tan Jedi robes with dark tan and grey undershirt details. Printing includes a dark brown belt with silver buckle detailing. The arms are white/tan and the hands are brown.
Legs
Plain Dark Tan legs without printing. These represent the standard Jedi trousers seen in the prequel trilogy films.
Accessories
In its original set, it included a green lightsaber with a chrome or metallic silver hilt. The figure in the image is missing its weapon.
Color Scheme
A mix of Tan, Dark Tan, and Medium Flesh, accented by the black hairpiece and dark brown hands and belt.
Printing Details
Highly detailed torso printing for the 2012 era, featuring back printing of the robe's hood and belt. The head printing captures the character's distinct facial structure and Zabrak ethnicity accurately.
Variants
There are no known official variants of sw0421. He is often confused with Eeth Koth (sw0299), but Koth has a different head mold and skin tone.
Condition Notes
Common issues include the rubbery headpiece attracting dust or becoming tacky if exposed to heat. Check for 'arm cracks' and torso side cracks. The light-colored torso is prone to showing dirt near the neck area.

9526 Palpatine's Arrest (2012).
Character Background
Agen Kolar was a Zabrak Jedi Master and member of the Jedi High Council. He was one of the four Jedi (alongside Mace Windu, Kit Fisto, and Saesee Tiin) who attempted to arrest Chancellor Palpatine.
Design Notes
The molded headpiece was a significant achievement in 2012, effectively combining the hair, horns, and braids into one piece that fits over a standard head, allowing for realistic character proportions.
Similar Minifigures
Eeth Koth (sw0299), Saesee Tiin (sw0412), Kit Fisto (sw0422), and Mace Windu (sw0417).
Collectibility
High. Because he is part of the 'Palpatine's Arrest' scene and was only released once, he is a primary target for Star Wars completionist collectors and 'Master Builder' MOC enthusiasts.
History
Agen Kolar replaced Eeth Koth on the Jedi Council in the films, and this 2012 release reflects the updated aesthetic quality LEGO introduced during the 13th year of the Star Wars license.
Interesting Facts
Agen Kolar is the first Jedi to fall during the duel with Darth Sidious, lasting only a few seconds in the film. Despite his brief screen time, his minifigure is one of the most expensive Jedi Council members to acquire.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in a recreation of the Chancellor's Office alongside Kit Fisto, Saesee Tiin, and Mace Windu. Use a UV-protected case to prevent the rubber hairpiece from degrading.
Modification Potential
The head/hair piece is excellent for custom Zabrak Jedi MOCs. The torso can be used for various background Jedi, though the dark brown hands are specific to his species.
Overall Assessment
A standout Jedi minifigure from the 'Golden Era' of Star Wars sets. While simple in the legs, the unique head mold and exclusivity make it a high-value collector's item and a must-have for Prequel Trilogy fans.
