Rarity
Uncommon as a whole; components are sourced from multiple figures. The torso and head belong to the Series 17 Connoisseur, but the legs and headgear are non-standard.
Head
Light Flesh dual-sided head with high eyebrows, thin lips, and beauty mark. Originally from the Connoisseur (col284). One side is skeptical, the other is content.
Torso
White torso with teal, purple, and gold vest print. Features a gold star emblem over a shirt and tie. Original to the Series 17 Connoisseur. Teal arms and purple hands.
Legs
Plain dark purple legs. These are a swap from the original Connoisseur’s black legs with coattail printing.
Accessories
Light Bluish Gray binoculars. Note that the original figure came with a black baguette (French bread) and a white bulldog.
Color Scheme
Teal, dark purple, gold, and white. This is a bright, vibrant palette typical of the mid-2010s CMF designs.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso front and back. The torso features intricate metallic gold highlights and detailed vest seams.
Variants
This is a 'kitbash' or custom variant. It uses the Connoisseur torso and head but adds a purple turban (common in Ninjago or Prince of Persia) and purple legs.
Condition Notes
Torso printing appears crisp. Check for stress marks on the purple neck base and heel cracks on the purple legs. Binoculars show minor play wear.
Estimated Value
$3.00 - $5.00 USD. Since it is not a purist complete figure, value is based on the sum of parts (Torso ~$1.50, Head ~$1.00, others negligible).
Price (New)
$3.99 USD original blind bag price for Series 17.
Compatible Sets

Character Background
The original character is a food or art 'Connoisseur' intended to represent high-society taste, often depicted with a croissant or baguette.
Design Notes
The torso is one of the most detailed non-licensed 'civilian' prints of its era, using gold ink to suggest luxury.
Similar Minifigures
Series 17 Connoisseur, Series 20 80s Musician, Series 10 Trendsetter.
Collectibility
Low in this state. To reach collector value, the original black coattail legs, black hair piece, and white bulldog would need to be reunited.
History
Part of the 17th wave of the blind-bagged Collectible Minifigure line, which introduced more unique molds and metallic printing styles.
Interesting Facts
The purple turban used here is a separate mold (part 40235) that has appeared in themes like Ninjago and Pharaoh's Quest, but never officially with this torso.
Display Suggestions
Place in a city cafe or art gallery MOC. The purple/teal scheme makes it pop in a vibrant urban display.
Modification Potential
Excellent for 'Sig-Figs' (Signature Figures). The torso and head are expressive and have a neutral enough aesthetic to be used for many custom characters.
Overall Assessment
A unique custom assembly using high-quality official LEGO parts. While not a 'pure' collectible, it is a creative and aesthetically pleasing combination.
