Design Notes
Features a unique hair piece specifically molded to capture Tracer's iconic anti-gravity hairstyle. The scale of the brick-built blasters is slightly large for the figure but accurate to the game's aesthetic.
Similar Minifigures
Widowmaker (ow002), Genji (ow011), and the promotional White Suit Tracer (ow017).
Collectibility
Moderate to High. As the mascot of Overwatch, she is a staple for video game collectors, though the theme's cancellation has capped market growth.
History
Tracer was the very first Overwatch figure revealed by LEGO. She represents LEGO's brief partnership with Activision-Blizzard before the theme was put on indefinite hiatus.
Interesting Facts
The hair mold is one of the most accurate transfers of a Blizzard 3D model into LEGO form. This figure was also used as the basis for the Tracer sprite in the LEGO Overwatch web shorts.
Display Suggestions
Display in a dynamic mid-air 'blink' pose using a transparent pose bar. Pairs best with Widowmaker on a small street-scene diorama from the King's Row map.
Modification Potential
The hair piece is popular for custom anime-style minifigures. Torso is useful for steampunk or futuristic pilot MOCs.
Overall Assessment
Excellent translation of a digital character. A must-have for Overwatch fans due to its unique molds and vibrant, game-accurate printing.
