Character Background
Lobo is a Czarnian bounty hunter and mercenary known as 'The Main Man.' He is an anti-hero who usually serves as an antagonist/rival to Superman and the Justice League.
Design Notes
Captures Lobo's 1990s biker aesthetic perfectly. The use of the standard muscular torso in white helps define his alien physique without needing a new mold.
Similar Minifigures
Biker-style figures like Wolverine (sh072) or various Batman variants, and other 'muscle' printed figures like Drax.
Collectibility
High. Since he only appeared in one set and is a fan-favorite 'cult' character from DC Comics, he remains in steady demand for Justice League collectors.
History
Debuted during the 2018 wave of DC sets which focused on smaller, character-driven 'team-up' vignettes rather than large vehicles.
Interesting Facts
Despite being an 'R-rated' character in many comics, LEGO successfully sanitized his look while keeping his iconic attitude intact. This set also introduced the first Krypto the Superdog mold.
Display Suggestions
Looks best on a custom LEGO chopper motorcycle or standing alongside a Superman minifigure to recreate their classic rivalry.
Modification Potential
Excellent for custom biker MOCs. The hair piece is frequently used by customizers for metal-head or rock star characters.
Overall Assessment
A standout figure from the 2018 DC line. Must-have for DC completionists due to its exclusivity and accurate representation of the character's core look.
