Head
Standard black head with red robotic eye printing, covered by a black ninja wrap cowl with a specialized metallic silver cyborg eye-piece attachment.

High-quality pad printing with crisp lines on the mechanical details and an excellent color contrast between the purple and silver against the black plastic.
Variants
This is the only physical LEGO variant of Mindroid, though he is distinct from the regular Nindroids (njo083) due to his short stature.
Condition Notes
Watch for silver paint wear on the eye-piece accessory and torso printing; short legs are prone to loose friction over time.
Estimated Value

The set he appeared in (70724 NinjaCopter) originally retailed for $29.99 USD.

Character Background
Mindroid is the shortest of the Nindroid army created by the Overlord. Despite his small size, he is known for being aggressive and having a 'short' temper.
Design Notes
Significant for being one of the first named antagonistic 'short' minifigures in the Ninjago line, using the short leg piece to establish character personality.
Similar Minifigures
General Kozu (njo073), Nindroid Warrior (njo083), and General Cryptor (njo082).
Collectibility
Moderate to High. For Ninjago completionists, Mindroid is a must-have because he is a specific named character with a unique personality in the show.
History
Released during the 'Rebooted' era of Ninjago which transitioned the series from fantasy-orientated to a more futuristic, sci-fi aesthetic.
Interesting Facts
Despite being a robot, Mindroid displays more personality than standard drones and was often used for comedic relief regarding his height.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside General Cryptor and a squad of Nindroids; he looks best when positioned at the front of a robot army.
Modification Potential
The cowl and eye-piece are popular for custom cyber-ninja MOCs or futuristic bounty hunter characters.
Overall Assessment
9/10 for character representation. A great example of how LEGO uses simple part swaps (short legs) to create a distinct, fan-favorite character.
