Figure ID
sw0504
Theme
Star Wars
Year Released
2013 (First release in set 10236)
Rarity
Uncommon to Rare. Originally released in the high-priced Ewok Village ultimate set, making it hard to obtain for many fans during its initial run.
Head
Flesh tone dual-sided head with high eyebrows, eyelashes, and a small smile on one side and an angry/focused expression on the other. Hair is the 'dark brown' variant pulled back in a bun/braid style.
Torso
Dark Red vest over a tan jumpsuit. Features high-detail printing with a rank badge on the chest, a utility belt, and front/back vest lines. Arms are tan with reddish brown hands (representing gloves).
Legs
Plain tan legs without printing, representing her Endor fatigues.
Accessories
Typically comes with a light bluish gray small blaster (as seen in the image) and a camouflage green fabric poncho with a cookie-like pattern (not shown in the image).
Color Scheme
A tactical palette consisting of Dark Red, Tan, Dark Brown, and Reddish Brown. This is meant to replicate her outfit from the forest moon of Endor.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the head and torso. The torso features fine detailing for the rank insignia and the folds of the vest. No leg or arm printing is present on this specific version.
Variants
There is a very similar variant (sw0235) from 2009 with a different face print and earlier hair mold. Another version (sw0642) includes slightly different torso detailing and skin tones.
Condition Notes
Common wear points include hair piece scuffing and loosening of the arm joints. The reddish-brown hands are of a plastic mix prone to cracking over very long periods of time if handled roughly.
Estimated Value
$25.00 - $35.00 USD for the figure alone in used condition. Value significantly increases to $50.00+ if the original cloth poncho accessory is included.
Price (New)
This figure was part of set 10236 (Ewok Village) which retailed for $249.99 in 2013.
Compatible Sets
10236 (Ewok Village) and 75094 (Imperial Shuttle Tydirium - though this set used sw0642).
Character Background
Princess Leia Organa in her tactical gear worn during the Battle of Endor in Star Wars: Episode VI. This attire was used during the infiltration of the shield generator.
Design Notes
This version represented a major upgrade in 'fleshie' era accuracy for the character, specifically moving away from the yellow-head era and providing a more screen-accurate rank badge.
Similar Minifigures
Luke Skywalker (Endor), Han Solo (Endor), and Rebel Commando (Endor).
Collectibility
High. Because she is a core member of the 'Original Trilogy' main cast and this specific outfit is iconic to the finale of the saga, she remains in high demand for completionists.
History
LEGO Leia has transitioned through many phases, from the 1999 classic yellow version to the modern high-detail flesh-toned versions. sw0504 is considered the definitive 'vintage-modern' Endor Leia.
Interesting Facts
Despite being an 'Endor' figure, many collectors used this torso to create custom 'General Organa' figures before the Sequel Trilogy sets were officially released.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed inside a LEGO Ewok Village or beside an Imperial Shuttle Tydirium. Placing her next to the 2013-era Han and Luke provides a cohesive 'Strike Team' aesthetic.
Modification Potential
Excellent for 'purist' customs. The tan and dark red torso is highly versatile for creating other Rebel alliance members or custom female pilots.
Overall Assessment
A top-tier Star Wars minifigure with excellent torso printing. While missing her poncho in this image, the figure remains a valuable and highly sought-after piece for any Star Wars collection.
