Character Background

Taun We is the administrative aide to Prime Minister Lama Su of Kamino. She greeted Obi-Wan Kenobi upon his arrival to inspect the Clone army.

Design Notes

LEGO waited 20 years from the release of Attack of the Clones to produce this character. The unique head mold solves the height/elongation issue of the species perfectly.

Similar Minifigures

Lama Su (if/when released) and other tall species like the 2023 Chewbacca or various Star Wars aliens with unique head molds.

Collectibility

High for Star Wars completionists. As a long-requested character, she is a cornerstone of Prequel-era collections.

History

Taun We's debut in 2022 marked a significant milestone as it completed the 'missing' main characters from the Kamino sequence of Episode II.

Interesting Facts

For years, fans made customs using thin tubes; LEGO eventually opted for a solid neck/head mold that sits on a standard torso stud.

Display Suggestions

Display alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi (sw1217) and R4-P17 on a clinical white baseplate or inside a Starfighter landing pad MOC.

Modification Potential

The figure in the image has been modified with a custom cloth collar/cape. Standard figures use the printed torso detail alone.

Overall Assessment

An excellent, highly accurate representation of a difficult-to-translate character. A must-have for Episode II fans.
