Year Released

2024 (January); debuted in the 75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea set.

Rarity

Uncommon. While only appearing in one set currently, that set is at a mid-range price point ($54.99). It is a highly sought-after army builder.

Head

Features a standard white Stormtrooper helmet mold (dual-molded) with unique 'Night Trooper' printing, including gold 'Kintsugi' style cracks and a red fabric wrap printed on the chin/base. Underneath is a standard Jango Fett/Clone head.

Torso

White torso with Stormtrooper armor printing. Distinguishing features include red fabric wraps (bandolier style) and gold/dark tan crackling throughout the armor pieces. Arms are white with black hands.

Legs

White legs with hip printing and knee-plate detailing. Matching red fabric wrap print on the left thigh and gold crackling details to match the torso and helmet.

Accessories

Equipped with a standard black medium blaster (E-11 style). It stands on a 3x4 black display baseplate which is standard for collectibles but may have been added by the user.

Color Scheme

A primary base of white and black (standard Stormtrooper) accented with dark red wraps and metallic gold 'Kintsugi' repair lines.

Printing Details

Highly detailed pad printing covering the front of the helmet, torso, and legs. Features weathered 'battle-damaged' weathering that is significantly more complex than standard Imperial troops.

Variants

There are multiple variations of Night Troopers in the Ahsoka series; this specific figure (sw1304) represents the version with the red wrap and gold cracks. Other versions exist in MOC communities, but this is the primary LEGO variant.

Condition Notes

The dual-molded helmet can sometimes have slight alignment shifts in the black 'eye' print. Check for scuffs on the white plastic which show easily. The gold printing is thin and can wear if handled excessively.

Estimated Value

Used: $12 - $15 USD; New (from parted out sets): $14 - $18 USD. Prices are currently stable as the set is still in production.

Price (New)

Comes in Set 75385 ($54.99 USD). The price-per-minifigure of the set is high, but the set contains 5 exclusive figures, making this trooper roughly $11 of the retail value.

Compatible Sets

75385 Ahsoka Tano's Duel on Peridea.

Character Background

Night Troopers are the reanimated or loyalist remnants of Grand Admiral Thrawn's forces on Peridea. Their armor is repaired with gold and bound with red charms, influenced by Great Mother's Dathomirian magick.

Design Notes

The design utilizes the 'Kintsugi' aesthetic (Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold). It is the first time LEGO has used this specific weathering technique on a Stormtrooper variant.

Similar Minifigures

sw1292 Captain Enoch, sw0997 Imperial Stormtrooper (Dual Molded Helmet), sw1151 Imperial Artillery Stormtrooper.

Collectibility

High. Army builders tend to buy these in bulk. The unique aesthetic makes them significantly more desirable than standard Stormtroopers for display collectors.

History

Based on the 2023 Ahsoka Disney+ series. This represents the 'undead' or 'decaying' era of the Empire's remnants, a significant departure from the pristine look of the original trilogy.

Interesting Facts

The red ribbons on the armor represent 'Chants of Resurrection' and binding spells from the Great Mothers. This is the first 'zombie' Stormtrooper officially produced by LEGO.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed on a grey or 'wasteland' tan baseplate to mimic the planet Peridea. Displaying 3-5 in a phalanx formation behind Captain Enoch (sw1292) is the preferred collector arrangement.

Modification Potential

Excellent for 'zombie' troopers. Collectors often swap the head for glow-in-the-dark or translucent green heads to simulate the Nightsister magick effect.

Overall Assessment

A standout 9/10 minifigure. The printing complexity exceeds standard Star Wars troop-builders, and the character lore adds significant value for fans of the 'Heir to the Empire' storylines.
