Character Background
A mythological creature based on Greek lore, designed as a companion or rival to the Series 9 male Cyclops.
Design Notes
Utilizes a specialized oversized head mold that fits over the neck stud; this was a trend in CMF to allow for non-standard character shapes.
Similar Minifigures
Series 9 Cyclops (col09-2), Series 15 Faun, or Series 6 Cavewoman.
Collectibility
Moderate. High demand for collectors completing full 16-figure series sets or those building mythological dioramas.
History
Part of the transition era (2014-2016) where CMF series began experimenting with more elaborate individual molds per character.
Interesting Facts
This was one of the first times LEGO released a female counterpart to a previously popular male monster CMF figure.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside the Series 9 male Cyclops in a cavern or rocky MOC setting using tan and dark tan elements.
Modification Potential
The head mold is popular for custom fantasy 'Orc' or 'Ogre' builds by swapping the torso for armor pieces.
Overall Assessment
A solid, well-designed fantasy figure that holds its value well and provides great variety to the LEGO monster roster. Rating: 7/10.
