Werewolf (Human Form - Boxer Shorts)
mof012 · Monster Fighters
Generic Wave 1 · 2012

Figure ID
mof012
Theme
Monster Fighters
Year Released
2012
Rarity
Uncommon. This minifigure was exclusive to a single, mid-range set within a licensed-style original theme that had a relatively short production run.
Head
Yellow head with bushy brown eyebrows and a thick brown mustache. It includes a single-sided print and is topped with a dark brown textured hairpiece (widow's peak style).
Torso
Yellow torso featuring highly detailed brown chest hair, muscle definition lines, and a claw mark scar on the side. The arms and hands are plain yellow.
Legs
White hips and yellow legs with dual-molded effects and printing. The printing features red paw-print patterned boxer shorts and brown leg hair stubble on the yellow lower legs.
Accessories
None included in the image; however, the set originally came with a bone and the alternate werewolf head/tail transformation pieces.
Color Scheme
Primary yellow (skin tone) with white and red accents for the undergarments and dark brown for hair details.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing. Notable for the transition of the boxer print onto the yellow leg plastic and the density of the 'chest hair' print which was unique for the time.
Variants
This is the 'transformed' human version of the werewolf. A secondary version (mof001) exists which is the fully transformed wolf with a custom head mold.
Condition Notes
The yellow plastic is susceptible to UV fading. Check the hip joints for cracks and the boxer print for 'scuffing' at the edges of the leg pieces where they rub.
Estimated Value
$8.00 - $12.00 USD used; $15.00+ USD as part of a complete set. The torso and legs are often sold as 'parts' for custom 'hairy man' minifigures.
Price (New)
Included in set 9463 The Werewolf, which originally retailed for $19.99 USD.

Character Background
In the Monster Fighters lore, this is Major Quinton Steele's lycanthropic nemesis. This specific figure represents the character mid-transformation or having just reverted to human form.
Design Notes
The use of 'paw prints' on the boxers is a clever 'Easter Egg' that hints at the character's animal nature even in human form.
Similar Minifigures
Series 4 CMF Werewolf, Series 14 Wolf Guy, and the Monster Fighters Werewolf (mof001).
Collectibility
Moderate. Very popular for MOC (My Own Creation) builders who need 'beach' or 'civilian' torsos with chest hair, making it a steady seller on third-party markets.
History
Monster Fighters was a short-lived but beloved theme released in 2012. This figure was part of the first wave and was notable for its humorous take on a horror trope.
Interesting Facts
The 'chest hair' torso print on this figure was one of the most 'mature' or realistic depictions of body hair LEGO had ever produced up to that point.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside the transformed mof001 version to show the 'Before and After' effect. Use a moon-themed backdrop for thematic consistency.
Modification Potential
Extremely high. The torso and legs are frequently used to create custom versions of characters like Wolverine, Ron Swanson, or generic hairy beach-goers.
Overall Assessment
A cult favorite among collectors for its humor and unique printing. While not the most expensive figure, its utility for customizers keeps its value stable.
