Theme

Year Released

2015. It debuted alongside the fourth season of the Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu TV series as part of the Anacondrai Cultists wave.

Rarity

Common to Uncommon. While restricted to a specific sub-theme wave, he was included in three different retail sets and a polybag, making him widely available during his production run.

Head

Yellow head with unique Anacondrai purple snake-like face tattoos covering the left eye and cheek. Featured a one-eyed smirking expression. Wears a Tan Bone Mask helmet.

Torso

Yellow torso featuring detailed purple and dark red Anacondrai tattoo printing on the chest and back. Includes a dark red belt design. Right arm is yellow; left arm is dark brown to represent a sleeve or mutation.

Legs

Dark red legs with extensive printing including purple bandages, silver buckling, and Anacondrai armor plating patterns covering the front of the hips and legs.

Accessories

Typically equipped with an Anacondrai Blade (jagged bone-like sword). The Bone Mask helmet is the primary distinct wear-piece included with the figure.

Color Scheme

A striking contrast of Bright Yellow skin, Dark Red clothing, and Magenta/Purple tattoo accents, accented by Tan for the bone elements.

Printing Details

High-quality pad printing with high complexity. The tattoos feature sharp line work that aligns across the torso and head. Leg printing is dense and multi-colored.

Variants

This is the standard version. A similar character named Eyezorai exists (njo118) who represents the same character but specifically in his transformed 'Anacondrai' form with a tail.

Condition Notes

The Tan Bone Mask is prone to losing 'clutch power' on the head over time. Yellow torsos are susceptible to stress marks (cracks) under the armpits if handled roughly.

Estimated Value

Used: $3.00 - $5.00 USD; New/Mint: $6.00 - $9.00 USD. Prices are stable due to high supply from multiple sets.

Price (New)

Available in sets ranging from $9.99 (70752) to $69.99 (70749). The cheapest way to acquire him was via the Jungle Trap set or the Anacondrai Battle Map polybag.

Compatible Sets

70749 Enter the Serpent, 70752 Jungle Trap, 70755 Jungle Raider, and 30291 Anacondrai Battle Map.

Character Background

Eyezor is a general in Master Chen's Anacondrai Cult. He is a primary antagonist during the Tournament of Elements, characterized by his Mohawk-style bone helmet and his loyalty to Chen's plan to transform the cult into fake Anacondrai snakes.

Design Notes

He utilizes the specifically molded Anacondrai Bone Mask, which was a signature mold for the 2015 wave. This figure successfully captures the asymmetrical 'scavenger' look of the cultists.

Similar Minifigures

Chope (njo115), Kapau (njo114), Master Chen (njo113), and the transformed Eyezorai (njo118).

Collectibility

Moderate. He is essential for fans of the 'Tournament of Elements' arc but does not command high prices due to being common in small, affordable sets.

History

Part of the transition era where Ninjago moved toward more complex torso/leg printing and unique specialized headgear to differentiate factions like the Anacondrai Cultists from earlier snakes.

Interesting Facts

Despite having 'Eye' in his name, he ironically wears a mask that covers his forehead and has a tattoo over one eye. He also appears as a playable character in the LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin video game.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed in a jungle or temple diorama alongside Master Chen. Use a clear 1x2 brick to mount his Bone Blade behind him for a dynamic 'ready-for-combat' look.

Modification Potential

The head and torso are popular for MOC creators making post-apocalyptic or 'mad max' style raider characters due to the purple tattoos and dark red color palette.

Overall Assessment

A solid, highly-detailed antagonist figure. While not financially valuable, the aesthetic design and unique bone mask make it a standout 'grunt' character for any Ninjago collection.
