Rarity
Uncommon. While not a massive set exclusive, he only appeared in one retail set and one polybag, making him less common than standard Nindroid warriors.
Head
Black head with trans-red eyes and a silver/gray robotic face mask print. Features a unique wrap-around ninja cowl (Part 15619) with a molded silver ocular scanner/sensor on the right side.
Torso
Black torso with a dark purple sash and robotic chest plating print. The print includes a mechanical core with a red dot. The back features further robotic paneling and the continuation of the purple sash.
Legs
Black short legs (Part 41879) used to depict his small stature. Printed with the lower portion of the purple sash and some mechanical silver plating on the left leg.
Accessories
Typically comes with two silver katanas or a circular serrated saw blade weapon. None are shown in the image.
Color Scheme
Primarily black with dark purple, metallic silver/gray, and trans-red accents. This scheme identifies him as part of the Nindroid army.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso front and back, and the front of the short legs. The contrast between the metallic silver and the purple sash is sharp and well-aligned.
Variants
There are no official variants of Mindroid, though the head and torso are similar to the General Cryptor (njo091) and standard Nindroids but distinguished by the short legs.
Condition Notes
Main wear points include the silver printing on the face mask which can rub off, and the 'clutch power' of the short legs which do not bend. Check for cracks in the torso sides.
Estimated Value
Used: $5.00 - $8.00 USD | New/Mint: $10.00 - $14.00 USD. Prices fluctuate slightly based on the condition of the silver face printing.

Character Background
Mindroid is the smallest member of the Nindroid army created by the Overlord. Despite his size, he is aggressive and has a personality quirk of being angry at his stature, often proving himself to General Cryptor.
Design Notes
The use of short legs on a combat-oriented character was a unique choice for Ninjago at the time. The molded cowl with integrated tech was a new part specifically for the Rebooted wave.
Similar Minifigures
General Cryptor (njo091), Nindroid (njo083), and later Legacy versions of the Nindroid warriors.
Collectibility
Moderate. He is a named character rather than a generic grunt, making him essential for fans of the Rebooted season, though Ninjago collectors tend to prioritize the Ninja variants.
History
Mindroid represents the 'Rebooted' era (2014) where Ninjago pivoted to a sci-fi/technological aesthetic after the initial success of the fantasy-based seasons.
Interesting Facts
Despite being a droid, Mindroid is portrayed with a distinct grumpy personality in the show. He is often used as comic relief due to his height.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside General Cryptor and a squad of full-sized Nindroids to emphasize his unique height. Looks best in a 'Digiverse' or high-tech lab layout.
Modification Potential
Excellent for 'small-scale' cyborg MOCs. The head cowl is a popular piece for custom sci-fi bounty hunters.
Overall Assessment
A solid, character-specific figure from a fan-favorite era of Ninjago. Standout features are the specialized headgear and the unique torso print.
