Rarity
Uncommon but highly sought after. He is currently exclusive to a single, somewhat expensive set, making him a targeted figure for army builders and Rebel fans.
Head
Light Flesh dual-sided head. Features a ginger beard and mustache with a determined expression on one side and a shouting/combat expression on the other. It is shared with several other figures, notably General Veers.
Torso
Dark Blue Rebel flight suit torso with detailed printing of life support boxes, straps, and silver metallic highlights. Features Flat Silver arms and Light Flesh hands.
Legs
Dark Blue legs with Dark Orange boots printing. Detailed printing includes flight harness straps and pocket details on the thighs.
Accessories
Includes a Flat Silver rebel pilot helmet with detailed printing (White and Red Alliance symbols) and a translucent neon orange visor. Also typically paired with a DH-17 blaster pistol.
Color Scheme
Primary Colors: Dark Blue and Flat Silver. Accents: Dark Orange (boots), White/Red (helmet details), and Light Flesh (skin).
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the torso (front and back), legs (front and toe/boot printing), and helmet. The helmet printing is particularly crisp with no bleed between the silver and colors.
Variants
There are no known internal variants of sw1163, though he represents a modern update to general Rebel pilot designs with unique limb color blocking.
Condition Notes
Look for scratches on the silver printing of the helmet and arms. The silver ink is prone to rubbing off more easily than standard pigments. Check for torso cracks at the sides and arm joints.

Compatible Sets
75306 Imperial Probe Droid (2021).
Character Background
General Antoc Merrick was the commander of Blue Squadron during the Battle of Scarif in 'Rogue One: A Star Wars Story'. He is a heroic figure who perished during the assault on the shield gate.
Design Notes
Merrick is unique for using Flat Silver arms to represent the jumpsuit material. This was a departure from standard pilot minifigures that usually have solid color limbs.
Similar Minifigures
Other Rogue One pilots such as Biggs Darklighter (sw0943), Jek Porkins (sw0448), and Blue Squadron Pilot (sw0808).
Collectibility
High. Due to his status as a named commander from a popular movie and being exclusive to a single set that has since retired, his value is expected to rise steadily.
History
Until 2021, Merrick was a highly requested character that fans frequently MOCed. This figure marked his official LEGO debut and is considered the definitive version.
Interesting Facts
The inclusion of a minifigure in the Imperial Probe Droid (75306) set was an anomaly, as most other sets in that 'Droids/Busts' scale did not include minifigs initially.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed next to a Blue Squadron X-Wing (MOC) or alongside the Rogue One crew (Jyn, Cassian, K-2SO). UV-protected cases are recommended for the Flat Silver printing.
Modification Potential
Excellent for purist customs; the torso and legs are perfect for creating other members of Blue Squadron or high-ranking Rebel officers.
Overall Assessment
A standout Star Wars minifigure. The silver printing and unique character status make him a 9/10 for Rebel Alliance collectors. Strong buy-and-hold potential.
