Rarity
Common; though discontinued in current sets, it was mass-produced across several high-volume sets between 2020 and 2022.
Head
Tan molded head with printed silver breathing apparatus and goggles. Includes circular silver 'spikes' molded on the top and sides. This mold is a significant upgrade from the original 2002 version.
Torso
Tan with a diagonal dark brown bandolier and belt printing. The back features printing of the robe folds and the continuation of the belt. Arms are tan with dark orange hands.
Legs
Tan legs with printed robe details including vertical fold lines and a tattered lower hem. No side leg printing.
Accessories
Gaffi Stick (Totokia) built from a reddish brown 3L bar, a brown faucet piece, and a light bluish gray 1x1 cone. This is the standard build for the modern Raider.
Color Scheme
Monochromatic Tan base with Dark Brown, Dark Orange, and Silver accents. This reflects the desert camouflage and scavenged materials of Tatooine.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing with crisp lines on the belt pouches. The head features very precise silver applications on the metallic bits of the mask.
Variants
This 2020 version (sw1074) features a diagonal belt. It follows the 2015 sw0620 (horizontal belt) and precedes the sw1183 (more detailed Tatooine variant).
Condition Notes
Common wear points include the silver printing on the face spikes rubbing off. The reddish-brown faucet piece on the staff is prone to stress marks if removed frequently.
Estimated Value
Used: $3.00 - $5.00 USD | New: $6.00 - $8.00 USD.
Price (New)
Mostly found in sets ranging from $15.00 (Microfighters) to $100.00 (Trouble on Tatooine or Advent Calendars).
Compatible Sets
75265 T-16 Skyhopper vs Bantha Microfighters, 75270 Obi-Wan's Hut, 75299 Trouble on Tatooine, 75307 Star Wars Advent Calendar 2021.
Character Background
Tusken Raiders (Sand People) are indigenous nomadic sentients from Tatooine. Famous for their appearances in A New Hope and more recently their deep-lore inclusion in The Mandalorian and Book of Boba Fett.
Design Notes
The move from a standard head to a specialized molded head piece allows for much better 3D representation of the character's filters and spikes.
Similar Minifigures
sw0052 (Original 2002 version), sw0620 (2015 version), and sw1183 (Book of Boba Fett version with darker robes).
Collectibility
High volume of supply means it is not a high-ticket investment, but it is excellent for 'army building' and essential for any Tatooine-themed diorama.
History
Initially released in the 2020 Microfighter pack, this figure marked a standardization of the Raider design for the Disney+ era of Star Wars sets.
Interesting Facts
Despite their appearance, the silver spikes on the head are actually breathing filters and moisture traps necessary for survival in the Dune Sea.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in groups of 3-5 on a tan baseplate with sand-colored slopes or next to the 75265 Bantha build.
Modification Potential
Highly modular; the heads are frequently used for 'Desert Scavenger' MOCs, and the torso is a great base for Jedi in rough-spun desert robes.
Overall Assessment
A solid, movie-accurate figure. While not rare, it is an iconic design that represents a high point in LEGO's Star Wars character detail. Rating: 8/10 for accuracy and playability.
