Rare. This is the original 2012 version with the long white tail / lower body, which is highly sought after by collectors compared to the later 'Legacy' versions.

Unique elongated white snake head mold with purple tribal printing, red eyes, and a tall neck piece. The mouth is open, revealing white fangs.
Torso
White torso with purple and black snake scale / vest printing. Includes red and gold belt detailing. Features purple hands.

The figure uses a specialized black slithering tail piece (Part 98115) instead of legs, featuring printed gold and red Ninjago script and serpentine patterns on the front.

Usually paired with a golden Fangpyre Staff or a golden sword (Pearl Gold Shortsword pictured). The staff is the most iconic accessory for this specific character.
Color Scheme
A striking palette of white and purple (Anacondrai colors) with black, gold, and red accents. Features pearl gold weapon.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the head, torso, and the front face of the tail piece. The alignment of the purple patterns from the neck to the head is a key quality marker.

Several variants exist, including njo297 (Day of the Departed version with a shorter tail) and njo492 (Legacy version with standard legs). This 2012 version remains the most iconic.
Condition Notes
The white plastic is prone to yellowing if exposed to UV light. The long neck and tail connection points can develop hairline cracks if handled roughly. Check for fading on the purple head printing.

Character Background
The main antagonist of Ninjago Season 1, Pythor is the last surviving member of the Anacondrai tribe. He released the Great Devourer and has remained a recurring villain throughout the series.
Design Notes
This figure was a technical milestone for LEGO, utilizing a unique oversized head/neck mold and a then-new slithering tail piece to convey the character's height and serpentine nature.
Similar Minifigures
General Kozu (njo073), Skalidor (njo067), and later versions of Pythor (njo297, njo629).
Collectibility
High. As the primary antagonist of the first major Ninjago wave, he is a 'holy grail' figure for many Ninjago collectors and prices continue to rise steadily.
History
Released during the height of Ninjago's initial explosion in popularity. This specific design paved the way for larger-molded minifigures in later Ninjago waves.
Interesting Facts
In the TV show, Pythor is much taller than other minifigures; LEGO achieved this scale by giving him the longest neck mold found on any standard humanoid minifigure at the time.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed on a clear stand to emphasize the tail length, or alongside the other four Serpentine Generals (Skales, Fangtom, Acidicus, and Skalidor).
Modification Potential
The tail piece is popular among MOC builders for creating custom nagas or lamias. The head piece is highly specific to the character but can be used for custom fantasy beasts.
Overall Assessment
A masterpiece of early 2010s LEGO design. Its unique silhouette, character importance, and rarity make it a standout addition to any collection. Rating: 9/10.
