Character Background

The iconic antagonist of the Road Runner from Chuck Jones’ Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies. Known as a 'Super Genius' who constantly fails to catch his prey despite complex ACME inventions.

Design Notes

Notable for the unique head mold that abandons traditional minifigure proportions to maintain the aesthetic of the cartoon character. The use of a separate tail piece is a common solution for anthropomorphic LEGO animals.

Similar Minifigures

The Road Runner (collo07), Bugs Bunny (collo01), and Marvin the Martian (collo11) from the same CMF series.

Collectibility

Highly collectible as part of a licensed 12-character set. Demand is stable due to the cross-generational appeal of Looney Tunes.

History

Released as part of LEGO's first collaboration with Warner Bros. for a dedicated Looney Tunes CMF line, marking a shift toward more specialized character molds.

Interesting Facts

Despite his 'Super Genius' branding, this is one of the few figures in the series that doesn't include an 'ACME' labeled accessory, though the anvil is a classic nod to the gear he orders.

Display Suggestions

Ideal for display in a desert-themed MOC or paired directly with the Road Runner minifigure for a chase scene.

Modification Potential

The head can be used for custom coyote or wolf MOCs, but the specialized nature of the mold makes it difficult to repurpose for realistic animals.

Overall Assessment

An excellent 9/10 representation of the character that captures his frustrated expression perfectly. A must-have for fans of classic animation.
