Year Released

Released in 2019, specifically for the LEGO Star Wars 20th Anniversary wave. This was a peak era for detailing and a significant milestone for longtime collectors.

Rarity

Uncommon to Rare. He was exclusive to a single, medium-priced set commemorating the 20th anniversary, making him highly sought after by those completing the bounty hunter lineup.

Head

Highly detailed unique mold representating a Gand. Features a metallic silver breather/mask over reddish-brown skin with large printed compound eyes.

Torso

Dark brown torso with intricate printing representing a quilted leather coat and chest armor. Features metallic silver and pearlescent highlights on the front and back.

Legs

Pearl Dark Gray legs with gunmetal/brown detail printing continued from the torso robe design. Includes printed hip detail.

Accessories

Commonly paired with a GRS-1 snare rifle (long blaster with small tech attachment), though not shown in image. The figure itself uses a unique molded head which acts as the primary accessory.

Color Scheme

Predominantly Dark Brown, Pearl Dark Gray, and Metallic Silver, reflecting the character's rugged, industrial mercenary look.

Printing Details

High-quality 360-degree feel. Features intricate padding patterns on the robe and metallic silver weathering on the face mask. Excellent alignment across the hip-to-leg transition.

Variants

This is the only modern version of Zuckuss. A previous 'Zuckuss' existed in 2010 (sw0286), but it was actually 4-LOM due to a name-swap error in early LEGO production history.

Condition Notes

The molded head is rubberized/soft plastic; check for 'tackiness' or dust adhesion. Rare metallic printing on the torso can be prone to scratching if played with.

Estimated Value

Approximately $35.00 - $50.00 USD for a used version in good condition; New condition can exceed $60.00 USD. Value is rising as the set is retired.

Price (New)

Included in set 75243 (Slave I - 20th Anniversary Edition) which retailed for $119.99 USD in 2019.

Compatible Sets

75243 Slave I - 20th Anniversary Edition (2019).

Character Background

Zuckuss is a Gand bounty hunter and 'findsman' who worked with the droid 4-LOM. He was one of the six bounty hunters summoned by Darth Vader to find the Millennium Falcon.

Design Notes

The head mold is the standout feature, perfectly capturing the insectoid features of the Gand species. It represented a massive leap in accuracy over the 2010 counterpart.

Similar Minifigures

4-LOM (sw0830), IG-88 (sw0831), Bossk (sw0828), Dengar (sw0752), and Boba Fett (various versions).

Collectibility

High. He was the 'final piece' for many collectors to complete the iconic Empire Strikes Back bounty hunter bridge scene. Highly recommended for Star Wars completionists.

History

For years, 4-LOM and Zuckuss were famously swapped in LEGO sets (and Kenner toys). This 2019 release finally provided the definitive, correctly-named version of the character.

Interesting Facts

Zuckuss is a Findsman, meaning he uses mystical Gand rituals and meditation to track his prey, making him a unique 'Force-adjacent' bounty hunter.

Display Suggestions

Display on a UCS-style stand alongside the other five bounty hunters from the Executor bridge scene for maximum impact. Keep out of direct sunlight to protect the rubber head mold.

Modification Potential

Great for custom alien MOCs (specifically Gand characters). The torso printing is neutral enough for other wasteland or steampunk characters.

Overall Assessment

An exceptional 9/10 minifigure. The unique head mold and the historical significance of completing the 'bounty hunter pack' make this a cornerstone of any modern LEGO Star Wars collection.
