Series 3 · 2011

Figure ID
col03-11
Theme
Collectible Minifigures
Year Released
2011
Rarity
Uncommon. As part of an early blind-bag series, it was mass-produced but is now out of production for over a decade, making it harder to find in mint condition.
Head
White head with bandaged print and glowing red eyes. The print features grey shading and a visible sinister grin showing teeth. It is single-sided and unique to this specific CMF version.
Torso
White torso with front and back bandage wrap printing. Features detailed grey shading within the wraps to simulate depth. Arms are solid white with white hands.
Legs
White hips and legs with printing on the front continuing the bandage-wrap aesthetic. Includes tattered bandage details at the knees.
Accessories
The original complete figure included a Scorpion (dark tan/gold) and a golden jewel/crystal. Note: These are missing from the pictured figure.
Color Scheme
Primary white with grey and black line-work; accent red for the eyes.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing typical of the CMF line. The design features a wrap-around illusion where the torso prints align well with the leg prints. No arm or side-leg printing was present on this 2011 release.
Variants
This is the classic Series 3 version. Other mummies exist in Pharaoh's Quest (different face/torso) and Monster Fighters (glow-in-the-dark features), but this CMF version is distinct for its specific bandage pattern.
Condition Notes
The figure in the image shows slight yellowing on the arms, which is common for white LEGO plastic aged in light. Typical wear points include the neck pin and the hip friction. Print durability on white plastic is generally high.

Originally retailed for $2.99 USD per blind bag in 2011.

Character Background
A classic horror-inspired undead character. He is portrayed as a clumsy but persistent creature who might have forgotten where he left his sarcophagus.
Design Notes
Designers used thin black lines and grey shading to give a 3D textured look to a flat white surface. It was a significant step up in detail compared to the classic 1990s Adventurers mummies.
Similar Minifigures
Pharaoh's Quest Mummy (pha001), Monster Fighters Mummy (mof001), Series 19 Mummy Queen (col347).
Collectibility
High. Completionist CMF collectors always look for early series figures. While not the most expensive in Series 3 (like the Elf or Fisherman), it is a staple of monster-themed collections.
History
Released during the peak of the 'Monster' trend in LEGO, shortly before the launch of the dedicated Monster Fighters theme. It marked the first time a generic Mummy was rendered with such high graphical fidelity.
Interesting Facts
The red eyes were a specific design choice to make the CMF version look 'evil' compared to the 2011 Pharaoh's Quest mummies which had white/blank eyes.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in a desert or tomb-themed MOC. Works well inside a frame with other Series 3 figures or alongside the Series 2 Vampire and Series 4 Frankenstein's Monster.
Modification Potential
Excellent for undead armies. Customizers often swap the head for other 'undead' prints or add tattered cloth capes to enhance the 'ancient' look.
Overall Assessment
A solid, classic minifigure. While this specific unit (pictured) is missing its accessories and shows slight arm discolouration, it remains a highly recognizable and desirable piece for any Halloween or CMF enthusiast.
