Clone Trooper Commander Cody, 212th Attack Battalion - Phase 2

Figure ID

sw1203

Theme

Star Wars

Year Released

2022 (Debuted in the AT-TE Walker set 75337)

Rarity

Uncommon. While exclusive to one specific set, that set enjoyed mass retail distribution; however, the figure's individual demand keeps market volume low.

Head

Standard modern 'Clone' head with light nougat skin tone and angry expression. Topped with a Phase 2 Clone helmet featuring orange sun visor and unique 212th markings.

Torso

White torso with orange chest plating, grey belt details, and 'battle damage' scuffs. Features orange arms and dark bluish gray (or black) hands. Back printing includes a thermal detonator.

Legs

White legs with orange knee pads and toe printing. Hip piece is white with orange utility belt printing. Includes dirt/battle damage detailing.

Accessories

Includes an orange visor and historically should come with a DC-15S blaster (not shown in image) and a trans-light blue hologram of Darth Sidious (Order 66 piece).

Color Scheme

Primary white and orange (212th Battalion colors) with accents of dark bluish gray, black, and tan (dirt/weathering).

Printing Details

Extremely high detail. High-resolution printing on the helmet, torso (front/back), and legs (front/toes). Features the newer 'holey' helmet mold to allow for visors/rangefinders.

Variants

This is the first and currently only official LEGO Phase 2 Cody with the specialized visor holes. Previously, Cody appeared as Phase 1 (sw0196) in 2008 and 2011.

Condition Notes

Look for cracking on the sides of the torso (common in modern white plastic) and loose visor attachment. The print on the helmet nose is a frequent point of rubbing wear.

Estimated Value

Current market value is roughly $20.00 - $30.00 USD for a used complete specimen, and up to $35.00 USD for brand new/extracted from set.

Price (New)

Included in set 75337 which retailed for $139.99 USD. Not sold individually at retail.

Compatible Sets

75337: AT-TE Walker (2022).

Character Background

CC-2224, known as Cody, served as the marshal commander of the 212th Attack Battalion under General Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Clone Wars before executing Order 66.

Design Notes

Features the controversial 'helmet holes' which collectors debate, but allows for the first screen-accurate orange visor on a Cody figure using current production molds.

Similar Minifigures

sw1235 (212th Clone Trooper), sw1094 (Clone Trooper 501st Legion), sw0196 (Phase 1 Commander Cody).

Collectibility

Extremely high. Fans waited over 15 years for a Phase 2 Cody, making it one of the most anticipated Star Wars minifigures in history.

History

Follows the 2008 Phase 1 Cody. This 2022 version represents the modern era of high-detail leg and toe printing and the move toward modular helmet accessories.

Interesting Facts

The release of this figure was heavily influenced by fan demand, particularly through social media campaigns directed at the LEGO Star Wars design team.

Display Suggestions

Best displayed inside or alongside the 75337 AT-TE, or in a 'Commander' lineup with Rex, Wolffe, and Fox. Use a small clear stand to show off the back detailing.

Modification Potential

Commonly modified with custom fabric pauldrons or 'waist capes' (kamas) from third-party sellers like Clone Army Customs to match his movie appearance more closely.

Overall Assessment

A landmark minifigure. Despite the debate over helmet hole placement, the print accuracy and the realization of a 'holy grail' character make this a 10/10 for collectors.
