Year Released
2018; debuted in Sets 76101 and 76104 as part of the initial Infinity War wave.
Rarity
Common; it appeared in several high-volume, low-cost sets and was intended as an army-builder character.
Head
Black base with gold and dark red mask/face printing; features a jagged mouth and slit eyes. Single-sided print.
Torso
Black with gold and silver muscle/exoskeleton plating detail. Includes a neck bracket element with four rear-facing studs to attach additional arms.
Legs
Plain black; no printing or special molding.
Accessories
Includes a black neck bracket (part 18986) and two additional black robot arms (part 98313) to simulate the six-limbed appearance of the film creature.

Black, Gold, and Silver with minor Dark Red highlights on the face.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the head and torso front; no leg or arm printing. Back torso printing is present but largely obscured by the neck bracket.
Variants
The base design (sh505) also appeared in sets without the extra arms (sh561), and a slightly updated version (sh512) appeared in the Dropship set.
Condition Notes
Watch for loose clutch on the neck bracket and stress marks on the clips of the robot arms. Black plastic shows scratches and dust easily.

$2 - $4 USD (Used); $5 - $7 USD (New). Value is low due to high supply and army-builder status.

$14.99 (Set 76101) to $29.99 (Set 76104). Figure was not sold individually.
Compatible Sets
76101 Outrider Dropship Attack, 76104 The Hulkbuster Smash-Up.
Character Background
Genetically engineered pilot-assassins belonging to Thanos; they served as the shock troops for the invasion of Wakanda in Avengers: Infinity War.
Design Notes
Uses a standard minifigure body with a clever neck-bracket solution to represent a non-humanoid six-limbed creature within system scale.
Similar Minifigures
Outrider (sh561), Outrider (sh512), Proxima Midnight (sh496), Corvus Glaive (sh497).
Collectibility
High for army builders; low for individual investment. Most Marvel collectors own 10 to 20 of these to recreate the Battle of Wakanda.
History
First introduced in 2018 to coincide with the third Avengers film; remain the primary generic alien antagonist for the MCU line until the Chitauri returned.
Interesting Facts
The Outrider is one of the few minifigures where part of the 'character' is an accessory (the neck bracket), making them look incomplete without it.
Display Suggestions
Best displayed in large groups on a tan or green baseplate to simulate the fields of Wakanda, facing off against Avengers figures.
Modification Potential
Excellent for custom horror or sci-fi MOCs; the torso printing is generic enough for varied robotic or alien builds.
Overall Assessment
A solid, detailed army builder with a clever design for its extra limbs. Essential for MCU fans but widely available and affordable.
