Included in set 75149 (Resistance X-Wing Fighter) which retailed for $79.99 USD in 2016.
Compatible Sets
75149 Resistance X-Wing Fighter (2016).
Character Background
A traveler and scout during the New Republic era and a member of the Church of the Force. He provided Poe Dameron with the map to Luke Skywalker before being killed by Kylo Ren.
Design Notes
Utilizes a specialized white hair mold that was relatively new at the time. The printing captures the 'weathered' look of the Jakku settlers effectively.
Similar Minifigures
Old Ben Kenobi (sw0552), Rey (sw0677), and Unkar's Thug (sw0655) share similar desert aesthetics.
Collectibility
Moderate. Desirable for completions of 'The Force Awakens' character rosters, but not a high-tier investment piece due to the character's short screen time.
History
Released during the first full year of Force Awakens merchandising. It marked one of the few 'civilian' style characters for the Jakku sub-line.
Interesting Facts
Despite being an important catalyst for the plot of Episode VII, this character has only ever appeared in one LEGO set.
Display Suggestions
Display alongside Poe Dameron and BB-8 in a Jakku village MOC or on a Star Wars character shelf.
Modification Potential
The head and hair are excellent for custom 'Old Man' figures; the torso is popular for custom Indiana Jones or civilian explorer MOCs.
Overall Assessment
A solid, screen-accurate figure with great printing. Essential for fans of the Sequel Trilogy, though limited by its lack of recurring appearances.
