Rare. This was the only version of the serpentine general for many years and appeared specifically in the largest set of the wave.
Head
The head is a unique elongated Serpentine mold in white with purple flame-like printing along the neck. It features red slit eyes, a blue gemstone print on the forehead, and fangs molded into the jaw.
Torso
White torso with detailed purple, black, and red printing representing Serpentine robes and a ceremonial necklace. Features white arms and purple hands. Back printing continuing the robe pattern.
Legs
White Serpentine tail/lower body piece with purple printing on the front. This piece replaces standard legs and captures the slithering nature of the character.
Accessories
Gold Fang Blade (the specific seasonal artifact from the show). Note: The figure often came with a staff or blade depending on the sub-set context, but is shown here with a pearl gold blade.
Color Scheme
Primary White with accents of Dark Purple, Black, Dark Red, and Metallic Gold.
Printing Details
High-quality pad printing on the head/neck, torso (front and back), and the curved front of the tail piece. The purple flame pattern is precisely aligned across the seam of the head and torso.
Variants
Several versions exist: njo120 (Purple/Black from 2016), njo531 (Day of the Departed), and various Legacy versions. This white version (njo039) is the original 2012 release.
Condition Notes
Common wear includes paint rubbing on the purple neck pattern and the point of the fangs. The white plastic is prone to UV yellowing over time. Check the connector peg on the tail for stress marks.
Estimated Value
Highly sought after. Used: $40-$60 USD. New/Mint: $80+ USD. Price varies significantly based on the condition of the neck printing.

Character Background
Pythor P. Chumsworth is the primary antagonist of Ninjago Season 1. He is the last remaining member of the Anacondrai tribe and the leader who united the five Serpentine tribes.
Design Notes
One of the first 'over-sized' minifigures to use a specialized head mold that fits into a standard torso but extends over the head and back to create a slithering silhouette.
Similar Minifigures
Other Serpentine Generals like Skales (Hypnobrai), Fangtom (Fangpyre), Acidicus (Venomari), and Skalidor (Constrictai).
Collectibility
High. Pythor is a fan-favorite villain, and the white version represents his most iconic look from the first season of the show.
History
Released during the first major expansion of Ninjago lore in 2012. The character was thought dead at the end of the season, leading to the rarity of this specific color scheme.
Interesting Facts
Despite his large size in the show, the minifigure uses a standard torso. In the animated series, Pythor turns white after being bleached by the Great Devourer's stomach acid, which was a late-season plot twist.
Display Suggestions
Ideal for display in a Ninjago 'Hall of Villains' or alongside the 9449 Dragon. Use a transparent 1x2 brick to support the tail for more dynamic posing.
Modification Potential
The unique neck/head piece is often used by MOC builders for custom alien species or fantasy nagas.
Overall Assessment
An iconic piece of Ninjago history. It is a must-have for collectors focusing on the 'Golden Era' of the theme. The unique mold and striking color palette make it a standout in any collection.
