Variants
Note that sw0661 is often used for Ello Asty, while Snap Wexley (sw0705) uses a similar flight suit but a different head and helmet. This specific figure is the Ello Asty version.
Condition Notes
The helmet's clear visor is prone to scratches. Look for torso cracks under the arms and wear on the leg printing hip friction points.

Character Background
Ello Asty was an Abednedo pilot for the Resistance. His name and helmet are a tribute to Beastie Boys album 'Hello Nasty' and the song 'Intergalactic'.
Design Notes
Incorporates the 'modern' flight suit design for the Resistance, which moved away from the bright orange Rebel Alliance suits for a more grounded tan.
Similar Minifigures
sw0677 (Resistance X-Wing Pilot), sw0705 (Snap Wexley), sw0658 (Poe Dameron).
Collectibility
Medium. Desired by army builders and completists of the Resistance fleet, though not as iconic as Rebel pilots from the original trilogy.
History
Represented the first wave of sequel trilogy pilots. The mold for the helmet with integrated visor was a significant technical step up for LEGO in 2015.
Interesting Facts
The Aurebesh text on the pilot's leg translate to 'Born to Roam' (an Abednedo trait) and his helmet has 'Born to Hunt' printed on it.
Display Suggestions
Ideal for display in the cockpit of set 75102 or on a flight deck MOC alongside other Resistance starfighters.
Modification Potential
Torso and legs are excellent 'purist' parts for generic sci-fi or military pilots. The helmet is highly sought after for alien pilot customs.
Overall Assessment
A solid, highly detailed minifigure that perfectly captures the aesthetic of the Resistance. A must-have for sequel trilogy fans with a 7/10 collectibility rating.
