Year Released
Released in May 2013 during a major milestone for CMF (the introduction of the rare Gold Figure contest).
Rarity
Uncommon to Rare. Being a CMF released over a decade ago, it is no longer in production. Its value is boosted by being part of the popular Series 10.
Head
Yellow head with large red war paint mask around eyes, black horizontal face paint stripes on chin, and a determined/stern expression with black pupils.
Torso
Yellow torso with intricate chest printing including a blue and black feather necklace/pendant, black vertical war paint stripes, and a brown studded belt with red 'X' accents.
Legs
Dual-molded or largely printed Dark Tan legs with yellow curved tunic bottom printing and grey studded apron/loincloth detail.
Accessories
Original set included a tomahawk (hatchet) with a brown handle and silver head. Note: Accessory is missing in the user-provided photo.
Color Scheme
Primary colors are yellow and dark tan, with bold red, blue, and black accents in the war paint and decorative jewelry.
Printing Details
High quality pad printing. Features detailing on the front torso and hips, with rare arm printing (tribal tattoos/marks on the upper arms) which was premium for 2013.
Variants
Standard Series 10 version remains the only official LEGO release of this specific design.
Condition Notes
The mohawk hair piece is made of a slightly softer plastic and can attract dust or show 'bites'. Look for fading on the red eye-mask paint and check arm joints for cracks.
Estimated Value
Used (without accessories) $5-$8 USD; Complete with accessories $10-$15 USD; New in sealed blind bag $20-$30 USD.
Price (New)
$2.99 USD (original retail price of a Series 10 blind bag in 2013).
Compatible Sets
LEGO 71001 Collectible Minifigures Series 10.
Character Background
Inspired by Indigenous North American warriors, designed for the blind-bag series as a standalone character with historical/warrior themes.
Design Notes
The mohawk hairstyle (Part 11604) in black is a signature mold for this era. The use of arm printing was a specific upgrade for the CMF line compared to standard City or Castle figures.
Similar Minifigures
Tribal Hunter (Series 1), Tribal Chief (Series 3), and various Western theme Indians from the late 90s sets.
Collectibility
High demand for 'army building' or historical displays. Series 10 is particularly iconic due to its association with 'Mr. Gold'.
History
Part of the 10th-anniversary celebration of the CMF line. This figure represented a return to historical themes that were popular in the LEGO Western line (1996-1997).
Interesting Facts
The 'Tomahawk' accessory is often lost because it consists of a small stick/bar and a separate clip-on axe head. This figure features the first 'tough' mohawk mold in black.
Display Suggestions
Looks best in a nature-themed MOC or a dedicated CMF acrylic display case alongside Series 1 Tribal Hunter and Series 3 Tribal Chief.
Modification Potential
The hair piece is a popular item for custom 'punk' or 'wasteland' minifigures. The torso is excellent for custom historical/indigenous builds.
Overall Assessment
A classic CMF with excellent detailing for its time. The arm printing and unique hair mold make it a standout piece for 2013-era collectors. Recommendation: Buy to complete the series.
